Let's name the Bury Road Roof after him.
Agreed.

But I unofficially it should be named after Arnu seeing as it's the only thing that's kept him going all these years

Re: John Still

I think that on the face of it; all of this serves to make him a bit of a caricature. The big retirement, that hasn't actually turned into anything like a retirement was all very unnecessary and does little else than make him look a bit daft. You often hear about how some players almost instantly mi...

Re: club Crest

I think it should be put to a proper vote for all fans with booking history. The current crest is very clean looking and was probably done for copywriting and trademarking reasons. The old crest was congested somewhat and may have added expense in terms of shirt manufacturing. The badge on the hoody...

Re: Takeover complete

Hopefully this is great news. I'm hoping we see the club take advantage of sponsorship opportunities and have a few things being run more professionally. Couple that with some astute investments and get a few players in to add some experience to what we have. Thankfully we still have a club. Onwards...

Re: The Positivity Thread

So, why are you a dagger?  I first started coming over to Victoria Road as me and my dad were priced out of going to see the Premier League. My first game was at home to Hendon. I was instantly hooked and coming over to the club became something I was very passionate about and in our first season ba...

Re: Cheek gone??

I'm quite glad PT has made that video explaining the move. He hardly pulled up trees last season and in my opinion hindered a lot of the attacks when Ferrier was on form. I think it was safe and reasonable to expect him to be a lot more forthcoming and a focal point of the team after banging in over...

Re: Predictions for Season ahead

League position : 15th Top scorer : Cheek Highest Attendance: 2800 FA Trophy: 2nd round FA Cup: 1st round I doubt it will be all bad and the complete relegation scrap. Injuries could do us in early doors but it's hard to predict without seeing what Taylor/Harris plan to bring to our game. I'm expect...

Re: Applications invited for 1st team manager

I think Mark Yates would be a good fit if we could get him. Surely even in our current predicament there's a bigger opportunity and playing budget than hes currently working on at Solihull Moors. When we played them at home around February time, they had real spirit - not too dissimilar to how we us...

Re: DAGGERS CROWDFUNDING PAGE

Why don't the club raffle off a couple of season tickets? £100 a ticket? Would be attractive as people could win a full season ticket for a ton. Might also attract non-season ticket holders if they know they can come along for a season of cheap football? Advertise it absolutely everywhere and use al...

Surely with all this publicity we've been giving it's worth contacting Trump himself and asking him to give us a handout!

Re: Time FM

I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as a fan of Thommo but i thought he came across relatively well in the interview. I think it's important that he said about his willingness to move on if it's the case that someone else wants to come in. In essence, either way I think the club would benefit fro...

Re: Tamplin Watch

Not sure if anyone else has seen the hilarious video he posted on YouTube the other day. Well worth a watch. https://youtu.be/ys_jh26Yuxk He just can't help himself can he? It's all so self indulgent and so unnecessary. Don't know any billericay fans personally, but i suppose all they want is someon...

Re: Club auction - Be the manager against West Ham

Knowing our luck; it's Wayne Burnett coming back for one last hurrah! In all seriousness; I think this has fizzled into a damp squib. Like we've gone over countless times, the club underestimated seriously how many people would get involved in the raffle. They could've made a heck of a lot mo...
