Re: Daryl McMahon

Saw Hornchurch play Billericay a couple of weeks ago. Saunders was on the bench but didn't get a game.

Re: Bye Trinity

Read your comments about doing things new with interest. A few months ago the new American guy who came from Wealdstone got members together to suggest to him what measures could be introduced to encourage more people to come. Very few people had any suggestions and the only one that has been taken ...

Re: Halifax Bore Draw

Thoroughly enjoyed the match. Disappointing result in view of the last minute penalty miss. Sure we will be missing a few faces next season but that’s football. Onwards and upwards!

Re: Oldham

Auntie Merge, Completely agree with you. Would have liked three points but had to be satisfied with one. Thought the referee was the best we've had this season. Thought it was a positive afternoon with an encouraging display from the young keeper. MoM could have gone to several players but the goals...

Re: Oldham

Why is it that the disloyalty to the Daggers that so many contributors to this forum display also think that same disloyalty applies to the players. As the previous contributor commented how do they know that players are unhappy and want to be off or is it just rumour. This forum seems to be riddled...

Re: Morias Gone

Sorry to see Junior go. A real genuine worker but cant begrudge him the chance. Interesting comments from the Notts manager, giving him time to get fit with the" excellent medical facilities" they have but also time to adapt to the Notts way of pressing and what his role will be. When we g...

Re: Aldershot Home Thread

Wasn’t impressed with the ref at all. Made some strange decisions. Continually stopped play when an Aldershot played went down but got up when the whistle blew. Good goals but what a disappointment to concede in the last minute. Everyone backed off and we lose our clean sheet.

I don’t know if anyone’s noticed but we won yesterday with two brilliant goals. Not one comment on here and yet when we lose the forum is flooded with critical comments. That must say something about the people that use this forum!

Does anyone know what has happened to Manny. Has not played or been on the bench for weeks. No news either in the programme. Was forming a good partnership with Phipps.

Re: Interviews with Daryl McMahon

Yes, completely agree. Daryl is hard enough to understand at the best of times but when we have a lot of background noise it’s impossible to hear him.

Re: Notts County (H) Pre- During- Post-fixture discussion. Perturbations about Notts County (H) here please.

Well, Notts County we’re in a different class! They pressed over every part of the ground and yet could stroke the ball around with no pressure in acres of space. If we ever thought we would be in the playoffs this will shatter that idea into small pieces. Whether we didn’t have the energy or lacked...

Re: Bromley

Yep. A total surprise especially after the opening 10 minutes. The second goal was pick of the crop. Pity we couldn’t see an action replay. What would we do without Morias. It will stand them in good stead for next Saturday. And yes the manager was on his feet for 95% of the game and communicating w...

Re: Do other managers do this?

As to the question about whether what Daryl says is useful, he frequently says “well done” or gives a thumbs up. As to whether the players can hear him, he usually only gives instructions when a player is within hearing distance and if they can’t they will cup their ear for him to repeat. As I said ...
