Re: Taylor in Taylor Out

I got into a conversation last night about Kenny Clark and his man management skills. A couple of people that have known his family for years are convinced he has everything it takes to become a top manager. Apparently, Balanta did some coaching at Borehamwood and is also highly regarded as a forwar...

Re: North Ferriby United

Will their demise have a knock-on effect regarding how many clubs get relegated from our league?

Re: Bromley Match Thread

How we weren't four or five up at half time I will never know, but what the hell. I thought Elliot deserved MOM award for actually staying awake for the whole ninety minutes and the fact we didn't miss Concrete Clark was another Brucie bonus.

Re: Sutton Victory

If Im correct in thinking Keane is very young I would suggest he has a glittering career in journalism to look forward to if that's what he wants.

Re: Your line-up v Sutton?

Today's referee was certainly "interesting" and Liam's booking was an absolute joke. Personally, I would have given the MOM award to McQueen but Mumms had another good game so its no big deal. I also thought Adeloyes link-up play with Wilko showed a great deal of promise. Anyway, three wel...

Re: Taylor in Taylor Out

With the greatest respect to Terry Harris who has been a great club servant, for me, he could be the problem. Im a great believer in continuity and would have prefered a much younger assistant manager/coach who could learn from Peter Taylor and hopefully take over when PT decides to call it a day. W...

Re: Gutless performance

I remember the days before substitutes when if we were losing we would throw a defender forward in the hope of getting a result. Given the quality of our substitutes today I would have pushed Ben Goodlife forward to see what effect he would have. He certainly couldn't have done a worse job. Taking M...

Re: Ebbsfleet

I would love to see Corey come back, but wonder if he is too similar to Balanta in the way he plays. IMO though, the two of them playing alongside Wilko would terrify every other defence in the league and take us to another level.

Next season let them stand behind the goal with no cover and hope it chucks down.

Re: Great Positivity, But Proves Fans Fickleness

With regard to Steve Thompson, my big worry is he could be head-hunted by a bigger club who have seen what a great job he has done in not only saving our club but finding the right people to take us to the next level. What I like most about him is although he is a supporter of his coolness under pre...
