I don't think we can begrudge Bromley an equaliser, a draw was a fair result IMO. But to say a goal was coming for 80 minutes is way OTT in my opinion.
Robinson and Brundle were both very good I thought, that partnership has potentially solved our formation dilemma if they keep that up.

Re: Are the owners aware ?
Lets be perfectly frank here, the Owners are only really going to be aware of whatever the Mein Fuhrer decides to relay back to them. This is a man that just 2 weeks prior to actually sacking Burnett stood there on the terrace, with a straight face and told me he hadnt spoken to or heard of a singl...

Re: Sub keeper
With 5 subs, I'd rather not have a sub keeper on the bench. An extra winger for example is worth the risk IMO.
7 subs, I'd have a keeper.

Re: Dover Tuesday
Not got too much to add, most has been said above. But I thought that Balanta worked harder than I think he has ever done for us, was great to see. Luque was superb for us, but the best player on the pitch was the Dover left-back, whipped in numerous great balls. Perhaps Dobson and Andy (no chance w...

Even last season where standards did seem to slip, I still think we had better food than most grounds.

Re: New Signing
As I've said before, I believe Wilko, Balanta, Gordon, Justham and Clark are all good enough to be playing in a side that can get into the playoffs. Possibly add Robinson as well now, so that still leaves us 2 defenders, 3 midfielders short. But were not in June yet and that's not to say McQueen wo...

Re: All Change For Braintree
Munns was one of the most consistent players on that run we had mid season, all that without a preseason. I'm basing this off of Soccerbase, so could be wrong. But says he's scored 2 in 26 appearances, 22 of which have been starts. He looks good, but doesn't produce enough IMO, he's the exact oppos...

Re: All Change For Braintree
Munns is living of this Cheltenham season a few years ago, he's been very average for us.

Re: Next Season Squad
I think Harfield is worth keeping, presumably pretty cheap and I think he's decent.
But all of us seem to be in agreement really.

Re: Taylor in Taylor Out
Having two centre backs on the bench was pretty special - Gave us very little chance of changing the match with subs.

Re: Wilkinson
Spoke to Thommo last night. Wilkinson can play for a third club this season, we signed him on an emergency (non standard) loan, which according to him, makes a difference.

Re: FCUK A DUCK
Jeeze, some people are touchy. Whether we earned the luck, or were overdue some luck is up for debate.
But any deflected goal has an element of luck attached.
I agree with others that a draw would have been a fair result, but great day, and obviously it was great to get the win.

Most Enjoyable Home Match Since When?
It's obviously fresh in the memory, but was yesterday the most enjoyable home match ever?
Scunthorpe 3-3 comes to mind, but more as a novelty. I wasn't at any of the famous cup ties so not too many others spring to mind. What am I forgetting?
6-0 in the playoffs I missed too...

Re: Nostalgia ain't what it used to be
I've never really understood why the Everton game is so fondly recalled by so many. We were utterly dreadful that season, we had a hacked together team and we didn't even muster a shot on target. Stilly protected the lads from a mauling with one eye on confidence for our doomed league campaign. The...
