Re: EU referendum meeting at D and R 31st May
Think this needs to go to the other topics forum. You reasonable b#stard Alan - the possibility of any impending war based on us leaving/staying within a trade-based union is vital as to whether we have a chance of a top 10 finish next year. Incidentally, I heard that Rampant Duke's Coventry contac...

Re: Pre-Season Game Announced
Pre-season games are nothing more than a kickabout to help with match-fitness in advance of proper games.
Not really something to get overly worked up about I'd suggest - maybe have a break from it all & enjoy a bit of the summer?

Re: On This Day
As an afterthought I remember what Whitehawk did to us at our ground, I know it was the FA Cup and extra percentages can be found in players when the prize is a big one. But they kept the ball on the floor for the majority of that match and absolutely battered us and thoroughly deserved that replay...

Re: On This Day
Unfortunately the vast majority on here have hoofy tinted glasses on to days gone by and that's fine, good luck to them. Whereas you've been completely open-minded throughout, right? Now be fair Tom, he has said " I sincerely hope JS does well " - and I certainly haven't seen anything in ...

Re: There are no words really...
It is a tough job running any website - what with all the tekkie-stuff to maintain it, together with updating articles & info on a regular basis.
But...
...this 'Season in Numbers' is truly truly dreadful.
Whoever thought this was a good idea is undoubtedly something of a plonker

Re: Who honestly....
I like direct passing, getting the ball up to the strikers fairly quickly, players putting a decent tackle in, having wingers with pace and taking a fair few shots on goal. Can't stand tippy-tappy bullshit - even when done in the premier league (Everton passing 8 times between the back four going pr...

Re: Footballing fairy tales...
I believe that the rumour of Steve Evans being able to see his feet (when standing up) is nothing more than a fairy tale.

Re: Fans Forum
There has been a 6 page thread on what happened at the Fans Forum? Would seem to be a fair bit of detailed feedback in the previous pages.. Sounds as if most things followed the general theme of 'how has the club f#cked up so much' & 'what is going to be done about it'. Whether any of the questi...

Plymouth match..
Well..this is the big one. Can the team negotiate the 9hr+ round trip to one of the slightly more chillier places in the country without getting a sniffle? I predict some kind of result based on the number of goals, or lack thereof, going into either net. Perhaps 2-1 to us, with midfield enforcer Bo...
