Re: Cousins dropped??
Jones went off Saturday with a knock (unsuprisingly after a couple of the challenges he received), so I assume that's why he hasn't started.

On another positive note
First time I've seen our new midfield duo but Labadie and Dunne looked good in the middle tonight.
Get Raymond/Andre in with them and get back to the formation of recent years where Rhys or Jamie have played as a lone striker.

Re: I'm lost for words
Ok so you train for a few days preparing for this game, making sure that everyone knows their jobs, and then after 20 seconds Joe Widdowson slices a clearance whilst under no pressure and it turns out to be the best through-ball we've played all season. 1 down in less than half a minute. Tonight we ...

Re: Relegation
I predict we will be relegated before the end of February based on our current form and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel....and thats being generous. Like a ship without rudder, heading for the rocks, with no captain! We have 13 league games between March, April and May, meaning 39 points t...

Re: protest
There were a lot of options in East London this afternoon. West Ham and Orient playing and the Rugby League international at Stratford where I was (and always intended to be there). We saw more than one Daggers regular at the rugby. 3 of us were at the rugby, and I'll be surprised if the Daggers ma...

Re: Change the players.
I don''t think that the team is that bad, it just lacks a tough-tackling central midfielder (imagine Abu in there, the difference it would make...)

Re: Cousins Obrien oh and Yusuff.
Ade wasn't doing badly at all, but it was a tactical change that enabled us to get an extra central midfielder (Sutherland) into the game.

Re: Prediction v Stevenage
Thats unreal, the only 3 games he has not played in and we've won the lot..can we loan him out to Thurrock or someone... What's Thurrock done to you? My local club, send him to Barkingside.. Short minds, he showed how good a player he can be for us January-May, he just isn't suitable for a 44...

Re: Prediction v Notts County
Wayne said he put Hamalainen in because we haven't played much football in midfield lately so wanted another central minded midfielder. Obviously that didn't work Saturday, so I'm hopeful we get back to basics with 2 proper wingers, a higher tempo, balls wide and into the channels etc. They're away ...

Re: Newport
Goes without saying that it wasn't a great performance. I wasn't sure about Wayne's decision to sub Doidge off, but we made a fair few chances second half with only JC's finishing costing us the win. He puts at least one of them away and we're all happy, at least to a certain extent. Nyron should of...

Re: Daggers Review and Preview
Funny how opinions can vary. I thought Jodi had his best game yet against Stevenage, certainly not his worst. I agree about his decision making at times but he was involved in the game alot more than previously and gave their left back a torrid time, whilst also putting a few great crosses in. Other...

Re: Knee jerk Comments here
What was the crazy reaction in the Sieve about when Richards got subbed off? Anyone would of thought he'd scored a hat-trick.. As others have said, McClure was the best tonight, and despite being truly awful we had a goal disallowed, hit the bar and were denied a late equaliser by a great block. If ...

Didn't think we needed a centre back, but Ayo is class for this level so am happy with that.

Re: Orient
Can't fault the centre halves much aside from the pen, they were defending solidly for 90 mins. We are very narrow and don't work hard enough to stop crosses. Neither winger did enough to help the full back and the centre of midfield is weak. If you play 2 in there they must be athletes like Ogogo ...

Re: Clevid Dikamona
Welcome Clevir Dik Not such a Clevir Dik after last night....first two goals came from his mistakes high in our half after losing possession for one and giving it away for the other. He turned inside on both occasions when options were out wide. Lets hope he can only go forward from there!! ...
