Re: Oldham Athletic Home

Their keepers words at full time, said with a wry smile: "Well, he did touch me". The officials really were appalling today

Re: 2024/25 Squad

Absolutely agree with the above. The club does zero to improve things for the existing fans. Communication is non existent. Incentives are non existent. Improvements to the experience are non existent. But is anyone surprised? The club has been stagnating and declining for years now and there is no ...

Re: Effiong

Let's hope it's true? I'm by no means the biggest Effiong fan, but he's literally the bloke that has kept us out of the drop zone with his goals. Unless we have a ready made replacement lined up, I don't particularly fancy starting matches with Sears as our striker...

Re: Bye Trinity

It all rather sounds like the same old Dagenham doesn't it: when things turn to shit or don't go to plan, it's the fans fault.

Absolutely agree with everything in Marks post on page 1 - hits the nail on the head.

Re: Bye Trinity

Whilst I do think we’re screwed, there is a reason to have a minuscule amount of cautious optimism. Since the septics bought us, the shareholdings allocated to the members club and Thompson have been hugely diluted. Whilst the members club dilution was always a concern, the dilution of Thompson mea...

Re: Flyde Away

It's says a lot if getting a point away from home against the team bottom of the league is a positive step! We currently have the worst home record in the league, and realistically does anyone see that changing any time soon?!

I doubt that Longe-King will be starting given that he was sent off on Saturday

We've been on that downward spiral for the best part of a decade now.

Re: FA Trophy: Peterborough Sports (H) 9 December 2023

It'll be the same old story even if we do remove Strevs. We've been useless for years and years. It doesn't seem to matter who is manager or who we sign, we are rubbish. There's never any identity or togetherness. We lurch from overpaid marquee players to cheaper options that nobody wants, but stil...

Re: NL: Boreham Wood (H) 24 Oct 2023

As much as I really want it to work for Strevs there are really are some key questions emerging. A couple to my mind: 1) Are the players actually playing for him? We were promised a team built of the old daggers ethos and ethic, bringing the old daggers spirit back. The performances of late have bee...

Re: Is this the worst Dagenham and Redbridge team ever?

6. If we do get another new owner. I hope it is the end of the line for some on the board. Genuine question Merge - if we got another new owner, who on the existing board would you want to keep?! If new owners took over then the whole lot need clearing, if we don't get new owners (and I'm ambivalen...

Re: Jay Bird

In the Scottish Championship, which is a dreadful league. You only need to look at some of the players in the Scottish Premiership to realise that the Championship is an awful standard. If Ayo Obileye is good enough to be a consistent starter for a mid table Premiership side then that speaks volumes!

Re: NL: York City (H) 3 October 2023

In total agreement with the couple of posts above. Kendall offers nothing except running - I acknowledge that we expected to see more of Inih, but if we were relying on Kendall to be our second striker then we were always in trouble. The lad from Luton had played well and looked pretty assured in hi...

Re: NL: Bromley (H) 19 September 2023

We only need to look at the fact that in 10 league matches (so nearly a quarter of the way through the season), our strikers have scored 2 goals between them, and they both came in the same match (and also largely due to Gateshead's keeper trying to be a sweeper-keeper). It should be crystal clear t...

Re: NL: Oxford City (A) 16 September 2023

Not the worst nil nil I've ever seen, and on another day we win that - their keeper pulled off 3 very decent saves to keep us at bay. Our lack of true cutting edge shone through again though, first half were largely limited to very wayward shots from distance. For all Kendalls willingness to run, he...
