Re: Sutton Today

Yep. Well done for apologising. Your passion was obvious, and understandable. My two pennys . . . I thought we were solid first half, winning most first and second balls, keeping it tight without ever producing much. A solid away performance, the boys deservedly applauded off the pitch at half time....

Something just came up a little while ago on the Daggers Friends Facebook page that looks pretty promising . . . :)

Re: What would you do

Only ever a) - not sure I could contemplate any other option.

But hopefully this is all hypothetical - although I do very much like the sound of 'AFC Dagenham' . . . :thumbu:

Cheers, Tone.

Exactly what I was trying to say. Just you've said it much more concisely.

Ah, the curse of a rambling mind . . . :)

To be a Dagger . . .

I've been thinking about this for a few days - what is it to support the Daggers, prompted by those that still seem to feel some benefit might be gained to use the Aldershot game to protest the recent goings on. Supporting the Daggers means something different to us all. I just want to give my take ...

Re: Mystery Daggers Shirt

Thank you, Auntie. Gets me a little closer :) Inspecting the kit a little closer, it looks like the kit was actually made by ICIS, which might confuse things. But I think you're right about the years. I think I'm leaning towards the '94/'95 season . . .

Mystery Daggers Shirt

Hi all.

Sorting out the shed today I found a couple of boxes of Daggers programmes, and the attached shirt. Just wondered what season it might have come from. I'm thinking '97/'98.

Any ideas, anyone ?

Who next up front for the Daggers?

So, with Assombalonga gone, and Ollie looking like he might be on his way someday sooner rather than later, who do people fancy coming in to fill the gap up front? Anyone from the Conference do you fancy? A below Conference legendary John Still aqcuistion? Or perhaps a League One/Two player not gett...

Re: North Ferriby (A)

My mate is a Ferriby supporter. Said they lost their joint managers and most of their players just before the season began. It is a tiny village in Yorkshire. Proper non league. How they have managed to accrue the points they have so far is an incredible achievement. They don't seem to score too man...

tbf the fella and a few of the lot are a bunch of morons. goading the away fans with wanker signs and stuff is just plain stupid. saying that 90% of the away fans this year a samll % have done the same but hey ho you get idiots in every walk of life. and whoever said the halfway line crew made the ...

Re: Fan kicked out

I've been supporting the Daggers for over forty years. It's always been a quiet place. The only atmosphere ever created was by the legendary Halfway Line Posse. These lads in the TBS are new to me. I have sat in the TBS a few times with my lad this season, and was at the Braintree away game.I have t...

Re: In need of a lift to Braintree . . .

So it seems Santa really does exist. Had a phone call from Russell last night telling me two seats have become available on the coach to Braintree :D

Merry Christmas, one and all.

Braintree, here we come :)

In need of a lift to Braintree . . .

Hi all. Due to being rubbish at sorting these things out, it seems myself and my boy, Charlie, have missed out on a seat on the coach for the Boxing Day trip to Braintree. So, in a final desperate attempt to make the trip and support the Mighty Daggers, I was wondering if anyone on here might have a...
