Re: Out the cup Embarrassing

Currently trapsing around Bluewater - was feeling abit gutted not to be in Carshalton as love the FA Cup Right now im feeling a) un-shocked (by the result) and b) a bit smug. Huge opportunity to progress to Round 1 literally lobbed down the swanny. The winning culture Peter Freund is looking for at ...

Definitely not required we already have a good target man

Like most teams its a natural.goalscorer we need not a lardarse
Fair enough but then I would have to question just what exactly was the 'target' ?

If it was a cow's arse, then yes, we already have our man (equipped with Banjo).

Matt Rhead

Latest to depart the Circus. Now I know he's 35 and probably past his prime. I'm also aware he hasn't exactly had a fantastic time at Ricay however, it's hardly been a settled start to their season. But maybe he would be a good fit for us in the 'big man' role for the remainder of this season? Worth...

Re: The luck of the Draw...

A few fans forums' ago, Peter Taylor said (in response to the uproar about Elliot Romaine being released) that we would have a forward line where everyone would agree he (Romaine) would no longer get in. We're halfway there now with Balanta, just the other half now to sort. We did have until Wilkin...

The luck of the Draw...

or maybe its not so lucky! A bit of a slow Friday afternoon and with the news about Angelo extending his contract, got me thinking that IF we had a decent striker to play alongside him, how much better we may have done already this season. I was also reflecting on the number of dropped points so far...

Re: Today

From where I were stood (right in front of the penalty incident) it looked like an absolute stone-waller. All things considered, I wasn't too disappointed to have had an off day and still walked away with a point. Barnet seem to be going through a bit of a shitty time recently so lets hope we can up...

FA Youth Cup

Much like the ESC - despite being drawn at the start of this week, our non-existent media team have yet to inform of the draw. I happened to see this by chance so here is the full draw (taken from our opposing teams website - posted this Tuesday) Hornchurch will host Dagenham & Redbridge in the Seco...

Re: Away Fans

I did think it had been quiet at the end of the Sieve. Im led to believe that actually the rule of having to offer away fans a terrace ticket was scrapped at the start of this season. I don't care which club it is, but £21 for National League football is nothing short of scandalous! Meanwhile in the...

Away Fans

Just been on the Chorley website and read their small match preview. One thing that stood out was the part they have for Admission (as follows) "Admission: Tickets are available on the gate & online: £21 adults, £15 over-65s/students, £12 10-16s & £2 under-10s. Away fans will be based in the West St...

Re: Line Up On The Plastic

What a result!!

And just like that were up to 6th.

I dont wish to take anything for granted but Chorley is surely a gimme 3 points on Saturday!

Huge applause to all the players & management in what is now a quite super unbeaten run.

Re: Clubhouse

Bump on this thread.

I heard on Saturday that its now expected the (apparently tiny) new club shop is not going to be completed and open until around Christmas.

A bit different to the "3 weeks" promised at the Fans Forum on 2nd August.

What's the saying? Pay peanuts .........

Re: Nearly A Quarter of Season Gone. Where Are We ?

I think it’s fair to say that if anyone had told you after the embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Boreham Wood, we were about to embark on an 8 match unbeaten run, which would include 14 goals (4 from Quigley) and 2 clean sheets, you would have laughed them all the way over to Memphis. It’s been a rema...
