Re: New Loan Signing

Glad to have Doug back at the club and definitely a boost to the squad.

I might be going crazy but didnt he have crossed words in the car park, with a couple of nob head supporters, the last time his loan deal ended?

Re: Peter Freund explains buying the club to America

A great listen & love the bit about the complaints he got for the new seats

The excitement in his voice when talking about the club is really quite something!!

Re: NOTES FROM THE FANS FORUM 11 JANUARY 2019

With regards a home supporter bar (in the ground) as mentioned I don't believe for a second it will be difficult to tarmac or concrete over the space behind the Bury Road goal. Knock a serving window through the old SC shop and serve drinks through there. Wouldn't be hard to stick a steward or 2 at ...

Re: NOTES FROM THE FANS FORUM 11 JANUARY 2019

Great write up - thanks Suzanne!! When you listen to all 3 of our wonderful American friends speak, you just cant help but get drawn in and excited by their enthusiasm to make changes and a real difference. And not in a lets chuck endless money and turn the club into a circus kind of way, like the c...

Re: Wilkinson

Absolutely GUTTED to be losing Conor Wilkinson. Been an absolute god send these last few weeks and particularly his performance on Saturday, when despite getting an absolute kicking from the Boreham Wood defenders, carried on ploughing through them, playing to a phenomenal standard. If we aren't abl...

Re: Gents at the Carling stand.

I am excited to get the new scoreboard though! With regards to any new scoreboard I hope that it will effectively pay for itself through any sponsorship and commercial opportunities. Some grounds I've seen some presumably very expensive, all singing and all dancing giant screens for it to simply st...

Re: Gents at the Carling stand.

Used the bury rd toilets myself yesterday and the decrepid state stood out like a sore thumb. Our American Friends said before they 'see' all the things we see so im hoping they too have seen all the cobwebs, grimey sinks that look like they've never been cleaned, disgusting little left over pieces ...

Re: Least Enjoyable Home Game Since When?

Very frustrating result yesterday. 1st half we were worse than sluggish, players looked like they had been on the port Boxing day evening, with Barnet allowed to completely dominate the game and deservedly went ahead. 2nd half was a lot better, we actually got the ball down a bit and played with a b...

Re: FCUK A DUCK

Despite the 1400 Orient fans, there were almost 2300 home fans. That is seriously impressive. I cant help but think the VASTLY improved social media communication helps to attract some of the floating supporters back over (and winning games of course) How amazng would it next be to get another one o...

Re: Tamplin Watch

After losing their previous game V Woking 4-0, Ricay got hammered again 5-1 today Vs Chelmsford. Tamplin has by all accounts gone AWOL and a couplf of their supporters are claiming on Twitter that their GK (Julian) confirmed today their players hadnt been paid. Funny how the fortunes of them and us ...
