Re: Oldham Athletic Home

Agreed, Strevs has worked a small miracle by grinding out results without Inih. I think if we can make it through the Easter Weekend without losing then we are safe. Draws are fine, although disappointing in isolation, but the main thing is we do not have the teams below us beating us. Would also l...

Re: Oldham Athletic Home

So, was it a penalty?
Looked like it from where I stood.
Anyone else?

Re: 2024/25 Squad

We have been here before, and 2018 springs to mind when Hopkin pulled the plug.
Fans pulled together then, raised money and bought season tickets. The team/squad wasn't nothing special but they gave 150% and thats all us fans can ask for. I think Phipps is the only survivor from that season!

Re: 2024/25 Squad

And if a lot of season ticket holders like yourself decide to not renewal, then surely the financial position of the club becomes further unstable and they'll be little or no chance of survival next year. For me, its become more important to support the club during these difficult times and that inc...

2024/25 Squad

With the season coming to an end and just 6 games to go, my thoughts are with next season already. I think we have enough to avoid relegation, and two wins from our remaining 6 will do, but how many of the current squad should remain to build a team around. Personally, not many, in my opinion, Mussa...

Re: Altrincham home

Apologies, cross wires, thought we talking about Sears. You are right, Mussa was signed by McMahon.

Re: Altrincham home

Yes contract runs out, believe he has a clause that triggers an extra year after a certain amount of appearances hence why he’s not involved as we don’t want to pay him for another year. Has to go down as one of the worst value for money signings we’ve ever had, thanks McMahon and Thommo. I think y...

Re: Altrincham home

Cheers DTD. I thought as much.
Another wasted wage. That's the issue for me, players on contracts we don't need (we haven't missed Mussa tbh) so the sooner he goes, the better the squad could be. His contract is up this summer, I think?

Re: Points

Some winnable home games to come, Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet should be 6 points. For me to secure NL status, I would love to get 3 points at Woking and at the same time relegate them.

On the subject of players, what or where is Mussa, injured?

Re: Bye Trinity

If we stay up this season, which it looks like we will by the skin of our teeth, then next season will be a huge struggle. Now how on earth are we going to attract investment? Only reason I can think of is if people may want to buy the stadium from the council and sell it off in the future for hous...

Re: Bye Trinity

As Thommo did explain in his pre match article around Diversity Day, we are located in one of the most deprived London Boroughs. That must be a factor when we charge £19 at the gate. Id rather have 2,500 paying £8-£10 than 1,200 paying £17-£19. The atmosphere, the 12th man would simply add to the ga...

Re: Halifax Home Diversity Match Thread

That is the problem right there all season.
No decent back-up striker.
When Effiong was first out back in October, we struggled. Now he's out again, things are not looking good.
