The pitch looks superb. Like a carpet and pop up sprinklers. Fingers crossed it will hold up well through the winter.

Re: Match Off

Surely we must have trained yesterday or today in order to play tomorrow so I can only assume all the tests are negative. Be interested to know exactly why Saturday was off. Not sure what time they would normally start training but I was there for my covid jab this morning and there were no bodies ...

Re: Tier 3

Leicester have had Tier 3 type restrictions for getting on 6 months now and still cases rise. Perhaps that show the restrictions do not work.

Re: Coronavirus

When parliament bans all gatherings of more than 500 next week, surely that will mean the National League has no choice but to abandon the season I believe the reason Scottish Parliament came up with the 500 figure was solely so emergency services were not tied up and were available in hospitals etc

Re: National League meeting

Their figures say a 1% mortality rate with a worst case scenario of 80% of the population catching the virus. That equates to around 50,000 deaths.

The commentary made out that Deering had a mare and even said that in the post match interview.

Re: Just watched the Shots highlights

Quigley and Wrights strikes were great but also the build up play for Luques goal was most un Dagenham like and deserves recognition.

Re: Nearly A Quarter of Season Gone. Where Are We ?

Quigley has scored 4 already so if he carries on like that won't be far away from a 20 goal a season striker.

Re: FCUK A DUCK

Was great to see the ground so full and a brilliant result too. Yes Orient had more possession but think we had the best chances. Wilkinson is really talented who challenges for every ball and has great feet too, definitely can play at a higher level and would be a real bonus if we can keep him for ...

Re: Banning orders

I did think all along that there was more than just the flags that caused Glyn Hopkin to walk away but no other reason seems to be coming out. Regarding the banning, on the podcast interview with Thommo did he not say that he was asked to show the person involved e mails and did so. Then the guy did...

Re: Encouraging the kids

I think the biggest issue is how do you get more locals coming through the turnstiles. Look at the demographics of the surrounding areas and compare that to the demographics of the current crowds. It is obviously a hard thing to manage. The club work hard in the community already

Re: Aldershot Town

Bloody good game that! Aldershot are a very decent team and it could have gone either way. The squad is looking very thin at the moment with the crop of injuries, could do with one or two back for Forest Green Saturday.

We had the full 5 subs allowed on the bench. Caught with a sucker punch after not taking numerous chances.
