Re: New signings

We’ve made all our signings that just not announced too closely together. Believe Coppin is one of them.

Re: Local Derby

Spot on, I remember last pre season where people kept saying results and performances don’t matter, then look how we started the season. Whilst fitness plays a huge part so does building patterns of play etc, let’s hope we hit the ground running.

Re: New signings

So many issues they run through brick walls for him and got their silly little club in the play offs, sour grapes indeed. Glad to hear we’re not throwing silly money at players and certainly those ones with injury issues, long may it continue. Hearing Noah Coppin from Salisbury will be one of the ...

Re: New signings

A really good mix of young hungry players mixed in with a sprinkle of experience. Lacking at left back and also up top, not an injury prone player amongst them all.

Re: New signings

Been told he has nothing to do with his dad anymore and as others said and Archie himself said let’s judge him on the pitch. The tears from Chelmsford fans suggest with got a good one here.

Re: New signings

Ashmore and Beautyman have bags of experience and if we do actually get promoted they’ll be about next season too to help hopefully some of the others we bring in this season that need handholding.

Need some centre backs and a couple of strikers, very good ones that will push us on.

Re: Southend

Most will end up at Chelmsford, they like paying silly money to players on their way down just like us, but that is all changing for us now.

Re: New signings

There was been no officially confirmed signings so far.

Re: Welcome Lee Allinson

Great appointment, with only 1 automatic promotion place you have to be looking at a minimum of play offs next seasons and we have someone who has done that before. Clear he was the target and we acted professionally and did it once their season was done, unlike their chairman who chucked his toys ...

Re: John Still

He was very well paid by all of the clubs he managed, reported salary at Luton was over £100k plus a promotion bonus of the same value, jumped ship from us when the gravy boat of money run dry despite him claiming he loves the club.

Facts are Southend didn’t see any value in paying him handsomely ...

Re: John Still

Most of his scouts were older than him, guess the world moves on. Bromley got promoted with help from a guy who played football manager turned analytics for the club, you don’t need old dudes sitting in a stand anymore.

Re: John Still

Because he wants paying well as per usual, you’d think at his age he would have earned enough not to put up silly wage demands. Go retire John as you can’t take your fortune with you.
