Re: Which relegated club will you be glad not to visit next season

Aldershot is twenty minutes from my house but I still refuse to go there. Absolute dump.

Re: Club development plans

I think it's a great idea and getting rid of that eyesore in the car park will be welcome. Also need some attention on the back of the club buildings which seem to be clad in rotting plywood. Really bad impression for those entering from pondfield park.

Re: Barrow

The way a lot of our players don't press the ball you have to wonder if it's part of the plan. I get the feeling that Taylor wants to keep shape at all costs, even if it means allowing the opposition an eternity on the ball. A lot of the sides who have turned us over recently have been far more aggr...

Re: Barrow

Thought we were totally outplayed first half but at least he changed to a better shape second half. Wright did ok at right back even though it was an odd switch on paper. Nunny is struggling very badly. No idea what he sees in Loft. He perked up a bit second half but still largely bypassed. He seems...

Re: Elliot Romaine

Very poor side overall. He's still better than many players in our squad but I guess nobody was queueing up to take them off our hands.

Re: Chesterfield

If players who are almost out of contract are turning in such bad performances that reflects terribly on the manager. Normally you'd expect them to be trying to impress even in spite of the manager. Out of those you mention I wouldn't even consider keeping any of them bar Robinson. I don't think he'...

Re: Dover tonight

Defending was a joke. Smith was beyond awful and Clark was miles off the pace. Where is Goodliffe? Nunny showed no signs of improvement. Don't think he's in any danger of a new contract. Loft, well. I don't ever want to see him play for us again. Looks like Conor shouldn't have played and is now on ...

Re: Next Season Squad

I think Robinson hasn't really recovered from his injury to the same level but he still has a massive engine and he is quite good at spreading the play and taking the ball under pressure.

Tomi I'd keep if he's happy to be 4th choice striker but in reality we need 3 better than him to have any chance.

Robinson Munns Justham. Would love to keep Manny if possible.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville

Can understand being happy with how the club is performing right now given our position in August. In the grand scheme of things, I’m happy too. Rather have a team playing crap in mid-table than no team at all. But there is a lot of talk on here about pushing for promotion/the title next year. I th...

Re: Havant & Waterlooville

There was an 'and'.

The handful of changes made us markedly more defensive but ok let's ignore that.

We went to one of the worst sides around and lost by 3 having barely laid a glove on them. This is woeful by any interpretation.

Re: Havant & Waterlooville

Surely you expect us to at least make a game of it and to put a relatively strong team out?

Re: A long way to go...

Can't see safety or police allowing the away fans to be split between areas of the ground in this way. Think you'd have to give them seats in the corner of the Carling if they're standing on bury road, but as we only have one turnstile into the Carling this wouldn't work either as you can't do hard ...
