They were upset that he had a different number of fingers to them.

Re: Gutless performance

I don't think Hoyte is going to solve our problems but I'd certainly have him in when Nunn is out of form. I'd probably have played a back 4 today against the shape Gateshead play. I am really struggling to see where the next win comes from unless Balanta and Conor can suddenly drag a result out of ...

Re: Gutless performance

Easy to find stats to prove any point. The manager clearly doesn't fancy Hoyte despite him never having one game as bad as Nunn has had 5. McQueen looked better in the midfield 3 this season cos he's a bit different and runs beyond the forwards. The midfield 3 today were sterile. Loft slows the game...

Re: Wrexham

Been very unimpressed with Wrexham this season and the fact they're near the top speaks volumes.

Missing 3 of your best players would hurt any club at this level so I'm not surprised to lose the game. We best hope they're all back soon tho or we'll get pulled back into a scrap.

Re: Just announced

I thought in these situations they usually left the snow on the pitch as a blanket and swept it off a couple of hours before kick off. It isn't meant to drop below zero so the pitch shouldn't be frozen.

Although not sure why they haven't covered the pitch on advance of the snow.

Re: A long way to go...

Not sure if they realise it's normally their fans starting trouble with basically anyone. We've had lots of soft segregation without any trouble but Aldershot always seem to be the worst. I stopped going to their place many years ago as I won't give money to a club that allows away fans to be attack...

Re: Aldershot

We barely strung two passes together and were fortunate to get a point. Aldershot are another side with loads of good play and no end product. At least we now have a forward who does something out of nothing. I don't understand how so many good players can turn in such a disjointed and slow performa...

Re: John Still

Largely glosses over the retirement thing. Trying to paint it as stepping back from full time management which was always his intention at Barnet, then just hung around to support Currie for a few weeks. Cos I'm sure head of football is a lot less work... Can't spin this one John boy.

Re: Tamplin Watch

Wheeler must be desperate for a job to have to swallow his pride and go back there. Not sure if I feel sorry for him or not. The O'Hara situation is even more funny. Ex prem and couldn't get in the team, unfit, went running the minute the money was cut but couldn't wait to go back? All very fishy. T...

Re: MANNY STAYING

Correct, he has bone bruising from a huge whack he took at the end of the game.

I do feel we left him on the pitch way too long but it isn't a muscular issue.

Re: All time favourite 5 daggers players

It is very tough. There are so many different factors to consider like ability, character, big moments, specific memories. I could probably name 30 or more players I've loved watching over the years in this post. Robbo is obviously the greatest in several categories but the OP was omitting him so......

Re: Manny

He's a great player and we'd have zero pace in the backline without him. Maybe we could cover it once the midfield players are back as the defence has had to do so much work in recent weeks. Whereas I can't see us scoring many at all without Wilko or another high calibre forward.

Re: Manny

He's here at the moment. Whereas other loans had a fixed end date, every report on Manny when he signed was quite vague and just said "January". I guess they will just recall him as and when they receive a loan offer from a bigger club.

Re: Wilkinson

I thought maybe it was down to the professional status but that isn't really black and white is it? Clubs can have both full and part time players. What would stop for example Orient signing him on a part time contract but a full time wage?
