First Signing of the season.
A 20 year old who has played in a lot of games at this level already, he also sounds as though he can play in many positions. This hopefully, will be the first of many.

Re: The Released Players Thread
I see York City have signed Ollie Pearce. Looks like we will be left with the dregs again like last season. :banghead: Having just appointed a Sporting Director I'm hoping that's not the case, also Josh Rees scoring 15 goals from midfield, certainly was a big success. Also, I would say Ryan Hill di...

Sporting Director, James King.
Have listened to the interview and sounds like we are moving in a very professional way. A scouting network that builds from youth players upwards. All sounds very impressive, will have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks and who we get through the door. It does look as though the n...

Re: The Released Players Thread
A top player in his time but hasn't played a great deal lately. Also, we had a bad experience with Freddie Sears so would much prefer a young hungry player if we had the choice.Chigwellian wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 11:51 am Dwight Gayle has been released by Derby... he is now 34yo

Re: North Sixth Group
Hopefully their takeover can all be finalised soon and the new owners can then put into place things that will strengthen us as a club in order to be contenders at the top end of the table. It certainly looks a brighter future for the Daggers.

Re: Tavares to Barnet
Very disappointed to see him go as a very good player when fit, he is one five new signings for Barnet already. They appear to have made their intentions clear that they seek promotion to the football league next season.

Re: North Sixth Group
I think Inih is perhaps a red herring here. As much as I think he is absolutely vital to our system, would we break the bank for him at 33? What if we could find a similar but younger player, perhaps for similar money? I think we have to look at the whole squad build to really understand how things...

Re: North Sixth Group
If that was ever under consideration ,I would much sooner that money be given over to the playing budget.AVincelotFlyingLeap wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 6:22 pm Anyone able to confirm if they're putting a roof on the bury road end

Re: North Sixth Group
Is it just me or does selling to another foreign owner fill you with intrepidation? These guys have no experience of football in this country, let alone the history and values that our club perceives to maintain. I fear that it will be like pass the parcel, with our club just being an asset being s...

Re: North Sixth Group
It will be great when they outline their plans in what they hope to achieve with the club. Also over the next few weeks there will be a good indication which direction we are moving once Strevens starts signing more players for next season and the quality they are.
