Re: good luck..

Am I wrong in backing Tranmere? If they don’t go up this year, they will surely do it next year , plus there are two strong teams coming down (although Chesterfield might do a York). I wish the boys well but it’s Tranmere for me. Given it was their third attempt, their fans had probably had enough ...

Re: Playoffs

Got a feeling for Ebbsfleet, they're the form team. I think a lot will depend on if they're fit enough after Wednesday night otherwise it'll catch up with them. Think it may have. Not aided by this one having gone to extra time as per Wednesday. People were moaning about the crowd at Wembley for Tr...

Re: Matchday Prograaaaaaaaaaaaaaaames

As it happens, this is currently up for vote in the summer for the EFL. Don't know National League standing on it.

Re: From Facebook

If Glyn chipping in is keeping the club alive, so be it, I don't think he should be criticised for this. I remember him stating that his solicitors/advisers/etc had told him the supporters' flags will give him a bad image. I've said it before - I wonder if those same advisers at the time also cared ...

Re: Prediction Game Thread - Macclesfield (A)

We do all sorts of games like this at work, I either win or come last, so I know what to expect next season if we do it again.

Only one suggestion I can make is perhaps if you get the first goalscorer correct that should yield 1 point even if you get everything else completely wrong?

Re: Guiseley

This is what happens when you don’t leave 1 of the best strikers in league on the bench. Especially after turning down moves to stay! I think scoring a couple goals again long-time relegated Guiseley should be taken for what it is. I really like Cheeky and he's been reasonably good, but no more tha...

Re: Prediction Game Thread - Wrexham (A)

I feel like Wrexham are in a similar position to us from last year. Done well most of the season but now clinging onto a play-off position. We made it last season and I believe they will too. I expect we'll play reasonably well but perhaps as we have a few times this season, feel hard done by the re...

Re: Woking Draw

Ignore play offs... one point from six this season against one of the worst sides you are likely to see in this league in many a year. Been doing the 46 minute conceding thing for years now Woking were third when we lost away, a game in which we were the better team and the referee incorrectly deci...

Re: Prediction Game Thread - Woking (H)

I see Samuel Allison is the referee for this one who is possibly the worst of the lost. Woking have not had a penalty all season, thus it is clear: Daggers 1-1 Woking First goalscorer Michael Cheek Final goalscorer Carter (pen) 90+4 I don't expect extra points for the final goalscorer, it's fine :bl...

Re: Line-Up at The International Stadium (Gateshead)

Shearer (jointly with Rooney) holds the record for most missed penalties in premier league - he missed 11 of 67 taken, so roughly missed one in six. Apologies I was going on instinct rather than stats. What about Le Tissier, and speaking of players at left back, Leighton Baines? I think you probabl...
