Re: Club development plans

It’s a phone tower. Converting the current temporary one into a permanent one. All set out in the documents available via the link above.

Re: Good day all round

Not a great first half, second half much better and their keeper was very busy. The save fro Balanta showed very strong hands, although he shouldn’t have had a chance to save it. Loft was simply terrible first half. Balanta needs to up his work rate considerably on and off the ball; the constant fir...

It looks like planning permission for phone antenna station going in corner between Sieve and A13 stand.

Re: Should Peter Taylor be Daggers manager next season?

Bless you for trying, you even went to the trouble of using an emoji suggesting that I was stupid. If you read the post carefully, you will understand that it conveys that I used to go to away games here and there AND in the Ryman’s League day’s did them all - I did not see any point in traveling fu...

Re: Should Peter Taylor be Daggers manager next season?

EVERYONE believes you were trolling and not making a twat of yourself.

Used to do away games here and there - did them all back in the Ryman’s League days - now seldom do away games, not because I’m less of a fan, but because I spend the time with my wife and kids. So you won’t see me at Gateshead.

We know this isn't you as you don't follow outside a 30 mile radius. Shame on you part time fan.

...

For the first time in years i'm contemplating if to bother with a season ticket due to the manager, its boring and dull going to games with him in charge and footfall will suffer.

Re: Should Peter Taylor be Daggers manager next season?

This business of not appearing in the bar - most clubs’ managers don’t. Equally, 10 years ago the players used to appear in the bar after games, but they don’t any more. It’s a changing world.

Crikey - 10.5% alcohol. That’s a little too potent for me.

Re: Club development plans

On the subject of entering via Pondfield, the gate at the top of the path is always closed, with the one next to the path open, forcing you off the smooth path onto rough ground. If the gate cannot be opened, could the area in front be smoothed?

Re: Club development plans

Predictable enough that there’s moaning.

Isn’t it a good idea to improve the first impression that people get and to rip out the current club shop/offices? If you want people to come to the club - not just on match days - it has to look less of a shit hole.

Re: Elliot Romaine

Certainly not the Messiah but think he could have scored more goals after Wilkinson arrived than we saw from Reynolds or Kandi Kandi has 6 league goals this season, 2 more than Romaine. Which is not to say that Kandi is the answer (he isn’t) it’s just he’s not really any worse. Romaine has 10 leagu...

Re: Season Tickets

This situation with people getting into the seats after paying for terrace tickets is ridiculous. It can’t be that hard to check tickets at foot of the stairs and tell people to retain their tickets for checking if they go to the bar/toilets? There has to be a way to get the terrace people in a diff...

Re: Barrow

I thought we improved second half. The first half was woeful.

Balanta needs to work much, much harder. He was making almost no effort to press their centre halves when they had the ball.

Elliot Romaine

For all the angst when we let him go, Maidstone went down today and he has not mustered a single league goal for them in 21 appearances.

Possibly another thing to remember is that even in that good run of games, Justham was getting man of the match on a regular basis.
