Junior Agogo RIP

Some of you will remember him, former Barnet striker, decent player. He has died, aged only 40.

Re: Matchday Hospitality & Clubhouse

We had Citra in the downstairs bar couple of years ago and it sold like hot cakes.

The beer and catering need an overhaul.

Re: Trouble at Boreham Wood

It shows you the level of financial backing that clubs are getting - perhaps they are not quite the overachievers that many think.

I recall them signing Doe and Howell when they were league 2 players. I think they had Charlie McDonald at that time as well.

Re: Fan Reactions

I wouldn’t bother. When we win the team and coaches would be brilliant, when they lose they’d be useless.

Re: Harrogate Home

Some terrible defending by both sides. Officials were appalling.

Balanta put in a shift today, was excellent winning the ball back and using it intelligently.

Re: Boreham Wood (H)

My first game of the season and first look at the new squad. I wasn’t impressed.

The whole thing looked pedestrian and toothless.

Re: Quiet on here

Really dont get the point of Alan's snipey first post here... The forum has been pretty dead for ages. The Chelmsord loss attracted a thread of just 1 post. The Charlton loss had a thread of 11 posts of which you were one. Yet you seem to think it should all of a sudden be some hive of activity bec...

I assume we were alright today then, as there’s been nothing posted.

Re: Gonna be a long season!

A conference side loses to championship side in pre-season game. Not sure you can read too much into that.

Re: Joe Quigley

The interview and statements say the fee was the wages we were contracted to pay him in the summer - I doubt was 40k for 2 months, as that would be 5k a week. We paid a fee for Grant. Who knows what it was, or what the wages for him and Quigley are are, or if he decided to use the budget on someone ...

Re: Joe Quigley

There’s a whole article, a statement from the owners and a video interview explaining that he wouldn’t have signed for us unless we put in the clause allowing him to leave for a football league club with the release clause being to cover his wages that we had to pay after the end of the season. It’s...

Re: Joe Quigley

The money generated by Wilkinson? The release clause was to repay us his summer wages.
