Re: Signing

Decent player - didn’t do a lot Saturday, must have been quite odd for him knowing he was coming.

Re: FA Cup Draw

Is this a thing now, insulting people by their travelcard zone? It’s a bit, erm, daft.

Re: Borehamwood highlights

Hope the bloke sat 2 rows in front of me watches the highlights and reviews his 30 minutes of berating the referee for giving a penalty against Justham. If there’s any chance of getting Winfield, or someone similar, we should do it, as our defence needs a leader. Wright isn’t good enough to play cen...

Spending time with my Family, more important things in life.
Although by your earlier posting, family wouldn’t have been more important if the price was lower or had we signed some decent players.

Re: If it were me.

If you want to attract people in, you need to improve the facilities (my daughter refuses to use the toilets in the sieve), catering (the food is shit) and the entertainment on the pitch - and why not have a band or something after the game? And some bar food to keep people in the ground after games...

Re: WOW

Great comeback - haven’t celebrated a goal like that equaliser for some time. What on earth Justham was doing for the penalty, I don’t know. I also don’t know why so many of our supporters were berating the ref for giving it - it was nailed on. Nunn needs to spend this week practicing crossing. Reyn...

Re: Hospitality for the Harrogate game

£20 for 3 course carvery meal, programme, teamsheet, halftime drink and cakes, not just a carvery.

I did it last game of last season, when I thought it might be the last supper given our then plight.

Re: Bar Specials

The beer in the club is rather shabby. I got told once that we do buy the discounted ones that are close to use by dates, which, if true, could explain a lot.

Just a reminder of the scale of what’s going on there losses wise. Their accounts show a loss of 1.9m last year and 2m the year before.

Re: Ebbsfleet

Whitley, Winfield and Weston would do us no harm.

It was only a week or so ago that someone suggested we follow their example of going down and restructuring - turns out they’re following our model.

Re: Free agents

I think Shola Ameobi is retired and coaching at Newcastle.

LuaLua must be pushing 40 - how long since he last played a competitive game?
