Re: Mark Janney Thunderbolt

That’s what I meant - the goal was moments after - not clear from my original posting. The keeper, Matthew Ghent, went on to enjoy convictions for stalking ex-girlfriends and spent time inside for assaulting one of them (including kicking her in the stomach whilst pregnant) and grabbed some attentio...

Re: Time for Daryl to go?

Not sure that throwing money at it is the problem, it’s how the money is spent and his the team is set up and sent out. The recruitment was crap and he doesn’t have the players to create crosses for McCallum. . Players do not look fit - Deering looks wider than he is tall and playing him on the wing...

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

Maybe they took the view that there was no point incurring the cost of printing and distributing season ticket cards before they knew supporters would be allowed back in?

Re: RIP Ted Hardy

A true Daggers legend.

The side he put together and took to Wembley was the foundation on which we got promoted from the Rymans and the backbone of the side that enjoyed so much success in the conference and FA Cup.

Rest in peace Ted.

No complaints. We lacked ambition after half time.

Re: Darryl when you gonna earn your wages ?

I’m not saying we should ignore the results - both of which are excellent - but pointing out that there are fine margins and that either game could have gone the other way and so we should not get too carried away. A solid defence is the foundation for most successful teams, which is why we need a s...

Re: Darryl when you gonna earn your wages ?

We’re they great, or were the results greater than the performances. Against Grimsby they dominated much of the game and the ref could quite easily have given a foul against Deering for the game changing second goal - it was two footed and off his feet; against ‘Wood the difference was a missed pena...

Re: New Signing

I’ve seen enough of Mitch Brundle to last me until the end of his contract. We are currently relying on a loan player Ogogo and a short term contract player Adams, with Rance sounding like a long term absentee and Robinson seemingly out of favour.

I’d very much like a commanding centre half though.

Re: Streaming Service

Aside from a few problems with hanging at the weekend, the stream is now really good, much better than the automated camera and the commentary is much better and more balanced than others.

Re: Boreham Wood Postponed

I don’t think that the fatality rate is going to be as high as 5% on a population basis. Imperial College estimate 1% in developed countries and, counterintuitively, lower fatality rates in poorer countries which it seems to be because of the greater mortality in the elderly - the median age of thos...
