Re: Chesterfield (H)

Typically, going by the last few seasons this is one of the unexpected ones we steal a point or three in, completely against all expectation to calm talk of the manager leaving... before going on another 5 game losing run. Quietly confident

Re: Dover

Loads of positives there despite the lack of goals... Can't think of another team in this League that wouldn't fit McCallum and Balanta in to their starting XI and still convinced there isn't a better keeper than Justham in Non-League. Sadly the creative players behind the front men and the defence ...

Re: Altrincham Match First Game for Fans

If anything was set up to ensure fans no longer attend football matches again for the foreseeable, that was the performance for it... If the Manager lasts the season it's a Christmas miracle

Re: Sutton United away

Was I the only one waiting on here after the sending off for the inevitable Sutton winner and the Clark bashing to begin?? Really not his season thus far is it?

Their League record suggests a boring draw... sneak through on penalties

Re: Yeovil Town (H)

Well the injuries and Robinson seemingly falling out of favour isn’t helping us to rest legs. But I didn’t say it’s acceptable that we seem to be struggling for fitness, I just said the break for the FA Cup should give us some rest that we really need right now. Only my opinion but Matt has been ca...

Re: Woking (A)

Admittedly parroting what's been said earlier in the month but we are a Balanta injury away from a very long winless run in the League I fear

Re: Woking (A)

Aware they're far from a poor team but that's twice already this season we have met a directly after they've lost by 4 goals... and we've been terrible in both games

New Signings

Curious ones these... Charlee Adams back with the team but only on non-contract terms and a left winger... May be a decent youngster but fascinated to see where he would fit in to the team as we, by all accounts, have looked like favouring a 352 with wing backs in pre-season and for the start (at le...

Re: Barnet (H)

If you attended any of the friendlies the alarm bells were ringing already about the defence... Expected more up front from watching the last six weeks or so where we at least had some attacking creativity No excuses tonight... that's as poor a team as will be faced in this division over the next 9 ...

Re: Barnet (H)

After Saturday's below-par opening to new campaign, we quickly entertain another side who made the 2019/20 National League play-offs in the form of Barnet as competitive football returns to Victoria Road for the first time in just under seven months. Barnet's prediction thread for tonight (http://w...

Game one

Squad confirmed and starting eleven in... curious to see how we get on after the last few friendlies... have looked good in attack but less secure at the back

Starting XI suggests a 433 or 451 formation which is strange as friendlies have looked like we were going with 3 centre backs.
