Re: Happy Birthday... Ian C

Is it a big one? but whatever I'd second that and raise a glass to Ian, a loyal and long term supporter, top man!

Re: Players going to Barnet

Well really gutted Craig Robson has gone, if there was one player we should have pulled out all the stops to keep it was him, and his background firstly doing us so proud after jumping up a league from Bognor and the most like able dagger for ages who really bonded the side to a tee, who's left? Wor...

Re: Pre season confirmed

Yeah noticed that, originally bought along it was similar to what run with those two guys who got Salford promoted and now trying their wares at Chester, on a personal note that Hemel away fixture like the look of and even more happy a Saturday and not aware of many daggers fans been there previous,...

Re: Time 107.5 Interview with Steve Thompson and Peter Taylor

Well done on that Auntie, the more I hear from these guys the more I'm liking the future plans. Well impressed when Peter spoke about other Managers ' take the call and help where they can', Unfortunately it looks like a fair slice of our previous stars could be missing come kick off in August. 40 g...

Re: National League fixtures.....

I suppose many of us will be sketching for newbie clubs Salford City, Harrogate & Havant & Waterlooville, will be interesting who we get Boxing Day and New Year with Barnet and Essex buddies Braintree Town back in the National? Wouldn't surprise me (as were just technically closer) and like the last...

Re: Season ticket Poll

Well were just going to have to hope for the best for our club at least we are up and running ready for a new season again and if most of our hardcore 1200 make a show here and there whether they decide last minute on a Season ticket or not I'm really glad we can still see most of the old faces, a g...

Re: And the Daggers new manager is...

Couldn't agree more there, Mine's off (ST) tomorrow too, to watch them both on daggers site clips today certainly made my mind up in a flash, never really had the chance to speak with Terry in his times here beforehand but the way he lit up to the reporter on what this club means to him and then lis...

Re: And the Daggers new manager is...

Splendid appointment under the very difficult circumstances and both have what, 70 odd years of football experience loaded in there between them, a good chance this could succeed and sure us fans will be right behind them.

Re: New Manager Announcement

Well wouldn't surprise me if it is Peter Taylor for various reasons which I wouldn't go into on here, Essex boy, I know been coaching with quite a few clubs but in a way looked up too a bit like John Still and respected by young up and coming lads, maybe rumour mill but I think that wouldn't be too ...

Re: FA Cup vs Orient: 14/11/92 video

Well done mate, rightly so Its been so depressing last few months and a few years before I became hooked but that's what its all about days like that and boy did those red shirts play their hearts out and just fell short, to see the ground as packed as that and with so many goals mind you awful defe...

Re: Applications invited for 1st team manager

From where we've arrived now after a pretty painful period is the time to start the slow haul upwards and this stage now getting the right coach in and a hard long strategy to at last make this work. What has any of us got to lose by picking an absolute newbie to National League Premier? a coach who...

Re: Applications invited for 1st team manager

If we had a bit of kitty money left for picking the right guy put full weight on seeing if Brackley Town would be open to offers for Kevin Wilkin, just looked what his done for them last couple of seasons, good age and his certainly going in the right direction, I too think Ian Culverhouse wouldn't ...

Re: Not currently one of ours...

Seen him play 3 times this season and what kept crossing my mind 'how did we not get the best out of this guy like seeing it with Bromley and let him slip away' ? King Louis as they call him will definitely be missed down Hayes Lane and beyond and no doubt they are gutted but it had to happen , he h...

Re: Hopkins reasoning gone...

In what direction is this club heading in? To be honest I'm getting rather lost in all this script here, which seems a never ending saga, you know a few years back what attached me to this club was that being rather small and far from paved in glory every fan walking in to watch a daggers team had t...
