Re: Bye Trinity
I think its time for us fans to consider buying in, a fans owned club. At least we'll have control from top to bottom and make decisions we are happy with. I'm willing to invest/donate. Does anyone else feel/think like this? It sounds an admirable idea but not sure if in practical terms if would be...

When I went, once in the ground the bar was within the complex.

Re: Aveley- ESC
A nice modern ground with an artificial pitch, so should have no worries about the weather. They have a bar at the rear of the stand which I didn't use but used the toilets which are also in contained within there. Also nice large car park.

Re: What Now???
An interesting summary of Trinity's ownership of the club. I would agree with your assessment and hope that whoever takes over is able to steer the club onto a secure and upward financial trajectory with a positive future.

Re: Barnet Away
Yes totally agree with that. A very tough game, so if we get anything from this will be a bonus.

Re: Bye Trinity
I wouldn't know Pablo if that was a contributing factor in Peter Freunds decision or not, but if so, would be a great shame. Unfortunately, football at all levels is followed by a small minority of "fans" that think that abusive and offensive behaviour against those running clubs is normal...

Re: Bye Trinity
I do hope your right diggerthedog and that we are not left in a precarious situation. I'm also not sure how easy it is to find investors for a club of our level as investing in most clubs is akin to throwing money into a bottomless pit with little reward for it. We shall have to wait and see what th...

Re: Bye Trinity
It's not a total surprise as things have changed quite substantially over the last 12 months or so. The owners have sold off our best players and cut the playing budget. and also not been seen or heard too much lately so I thought something had changed somewhat. I was delighted when they put money i...

Re: Could it be the kit ?
That would be an easy and wonderful option just to wear a bright kit and our team would miraculously climb the league. I tend to think, however, it was more to do with playing with a lot more determination, desire and creativity and scoring two brilliant goals. Now we need more of the same going for...

Next Three Games
Our next three games are all way from home. Two of these games are against teams in the top four, plus the return game against Eastleigh. Our away record is reasonably good, but on paper it looks a difficult prospect of getting many points in total in these games. Not being to negative I hope, but i...

Re: Eastleigh Home Boxing Day
Agree at 1-1 thought we were going to lose. Credit to the team in responding in such a positive way. Two absolute cracking goals and the substitutes certainly changed the game in our favour. We just need more of the same determination and endeavour please.

Anything that helps us to win at home has got to be very welcome. Come on you Daggers.

Re: Flyde Away
Didn't see yesterday's game, but a point away from home and a signing of a winger on the same day has got to be a positive step in the right direction. If you look at our away record, it really is quite respectable. In fact, we have won 17 points away as against only 9 at home. Is it asking too much...

Great, some good news, the fact that we have also paid a fee is somewhat encouraging as well!

Re: Flyde Away
As things have been lately, there is understandably a lot of negativity on here at the moment. This, however, is probably a really stupid and pointless question but just wondered if anyone had any positive thoughts that could possibly make everyone feel just a little bit better with the festive game...
