Re: Whats better ??
Well, a few weeks ago with numpty in charge I'd have said we'd get murdered up at Goodison, anything under 4 being a result. But seeing that Everton have had a busy Christmas period, playing Spurs today, Man City on Wednesday us on Saturday and their 2nd leg semi the following Wednesday I'm not so s...

Re: What players will be back?????
For the love of God Doey get your arse back here lively, numb nuts has left now! And if you could persuade your mate Luke to come as well I'd be very happy. Also if there's any half decent defenders where you are they're most welcome.

Prediction v Exeter
A great result last time out and off the bottom, things are looking up. Can we get some kind of momentum going and win at Exeter? As I said on a previous posting, we're more than a match for anyone in this league if we put our mind to it as it proved at Stevenage. I would expect an announcement soon...

Re: Well.....
On another note, an excellent set up today which on hindsight was a very smart move and not one that I'd really considered although now I think about it, it makes complete sense. Our wingers in particular have been largely cack this season so it makes sense to drop them altogether and play wing bac...

Re: Well.....
I honestly think we have the players to do this given the right man in charge. Whether that's stilly or not remains to be seen. Sort out the defence and the rest sorts itself out. The midfields ok and the strikers given the service will score the goals. A good result today, well done lads, Exeter he...

Re: Our coaching
I especially miss the one where they stand circling the bloke in the middle who bounces the ball and they all turn round run away and jump in the air. I miss that one. And the one where Currie throws the ball in the air and they volley it towards the makeshift goals, down in the corner by the sieve....

Prediction v Stevenage
Another dismal display and yet another defeat. Couldn't get to the Cambridge match, but by all accounts it was pretty much what I've been witnessing all season. Poor defending, not much in midfield and sweet FA up front just about sums it up doesn't it. Will it improve at Stevenage? In a word, No. U...

Re: Apparantly, managing Daggers....
Take all your points , which kinda proves what I said the Well in Wich we dropped our bucket was dry this season and some of the signings have proved beyond bad. That said I can't agree about the loan signings Dunne , Vassell , Pask or Mullaney being that poor in fact at times they looked pretty go...

Re: Everton Tickets
Got a lift share going on with some Everton fans (the in laws) Same here, wife's family all Evertonians, going up on the Friday coming back Sunday. They're all in Grays so we're going and coming back on the day. I'm just glad I'm not driving! Definitely a beers day. Hers are about 15 minutes from G...

Re: Apparantly, managing Daggers....
Ok fair enough, I'll give you that about the buying business. But let's say recruited then, because surely he had a say in who came here on loan etc. Here are the plain and simple facts. Did he not sign or oversee. Nosworthy, quite possibly the worst defender ever to play or attempt to play professi...

Re: Apparantly, managing Daggers....
He might need to rethink his stevie wonder style scouting and transfer policy, buying cripples and over the hill never beens, is no way to succeed. It may also be an idea not to offer your own fans out after a game in which you've managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I also think he ma...

Re: He isn't leaving
Sorry guys but he ain't destitute ! Burnett has been paid off, and quite frankly been paid a good salary over the past two years, for doing **** all constructively When appointed temporary, he took the club from 7th spot to staying up by the skin of our teeth above Barnet on goal difference, yet so...
