Re: Most painful 2-0 win ever
Lee, I don't doubt your loyalty and if I wasn't a fan I wouldn't be standing freezing my arse off watching us hoofball our way to victory over hartlepool, who incedently ran us ragged for the first 20 minutes by playing the ball on the deck. Against better opposition Wayne needs to be able to adapt ...

Re: Most painful 2-0 win ever
We aren't going up this season are we ? We need to win as ugly as possible rather than go down, salvage some sort of respectability and then plan for next season. This is what we say every season I know but its about survival first.Lets face it,we'll be starting from scratch again in August probably ...

Re: Back Passes
In the second half we passed one back when at one point we were 35 yards from goal with Boucard facing the opposition area! Heart in the mouth time when they continue to do that. We seem scared stiff at times to go forward. And that continual high ball up to jamie is beyond a joke. On a positive no...

Re: Most painful 2-0 win ever
It took us about 20 minutes to wake up. It was a very nervy yet easy victory, can't remember our keeper really having to make a save. Cracking goal by billy. We will have to play better in the games coming up, hartlepool looked like a team at the bottom and relegation certainties.

Agreed, if it's not going well tonight then bring him on as a sub, otherwise give him a rest. Too valuable a player for us to pick up an injury at this stage of the season. The Romford Dagger wrote:I honestly think he will be rested actually

Re: Even if we do stay up
So you were part of that west side mob then ARNU shame on you, taunting those poor away souls in the south bank like that. :D I did watch a game or two from that side but mainly stood in the old south bank. We're talking 1975-1976 onwards I reckon. Same here mate, from 1973 onwards. Those were the d...

Re: Relegation dogfight - the teams
So - from the original post it would seem Cambridge have got themselves out of trouble (now 8 pts clear) as have Northampton (now 14 pts clear, as have Pompey (now 11 pts clear) I think that now leaves 8 teams in the mix from Hartlepool on bottom with 27 pts up to Oxford & Masnfield in 17th/18t...

Re: jordan seabright
Based on his time here, it's probably a good decision by Jordan. I was surprised Wayne was willing to keep him on last year! Oh and on the subject of goalkeepers, I'd rather have Cousins then Lewington any day! Agreed, cousins has done well lately, all the more because our defence has looked decide...

Re: Mansfield
The goal we scored yesterday had them chasing shadows, nice one touch stuff, plenty of movement, and a good finish from jamie. Just goes to show what can be done if we keep the ball on the floor, sadly as mentioned we revert back to the high ball yet again. Be interesting to see how we go about the ...
