Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread

Another truly awful day following this football club. McMahon needed a defiant reaction after issuing his latest dressing room condemnation but instead got another dreadful performance to prove beyond all doubt that the players are not responding to him anymore. He cannot keep hammering them every w...

The Same Old Cycle

✍️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 A detailed piece on where the club finds itself - an inescapable cycle of continual false dawns within mediocrity, which will continue to plague the Daggers, unless they dispense with the man perpetuating it: https://dagnificent.weebly.com/daggers-blog/the-same-old-cycle-under-...

Re: Bye Paul McCallum

McCallum's exit isn't particularly disastrous in itself because he has been out of form for months now however the mechanics of it being a loan deal are mystifying, because there are little tangible benefits to us besides clearing a high-earner off the wage bill. It does come at the expense of a wea...

Oldham Report

🔴🔵 An indefensible night in Manchester, where a cataclysmic half - ranking among the worst under McMahon's reign - saw Dagenham concede four plus survive a missed penalty and shot against the post at a relegation-threatened outfit. 💬 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/oldham-athle...

Re: It's time now....

Enough is enough but he's survived far worse such as Dorking and Notts this very season, and Notts again when they smashed us with ten men in the behind-closed-doors era. Nights like yesterday will keep happening despite his assertions that it's not in alignment with how 'his teams' play or whatever...

Re: Hold 'em Oldham..

Beyond a disgrace conceding four, alongside a missed penalty and another effort against the post, to a team that didn't have a shot let alone on target three days earlier. That second half performance was truly horrendous.

Re: Wealdstone

🔴🔵 Compounding a damaging few days for their play-off hopes, which had seen them drop out then lose their main man towards achieving them, Dagenham suffered a frustrating afternoon through an inability to execute glaring chances. 💬 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/wealdstone-1-d...

Re: Wealdstone

1-0 up at Bromley a week and a half ago, one more goal from moving up to fifth. Cue a dismissive second half ending with a late leveller before two defeats have sunk us into mid-table. Oh, and we've lost the only player who has looked capable of scoring from November onwards. McCallum and Morias are...

Re: Wealdstone

Could do with a win after the demoralising few days you've outlined above and history indicates there's no better opposition nor location to find it with us having registered six victories and a draw in our seven previous meetings which includes a 100% record at Grosvenor Vale. Hopefully that contin...

Dagger to the Heart: Reflecting on Josh Walker's Departure A piece on the recent outgoing of our number seven, reflecting on his largely successful time at the club and where it leaves us, primarily in that - despite this undeniably being a huge blow - we still have the saving grace of a likely str...

Re: Yeovil..

A truly awful team who hadn't won away from home, and it showed because they were there for the taking even with ten men. We were certainly gifted a golden chance to do so, falling to the man we would most want at the minute in Josh Walker but his decision to continually shape inside and invite bodi...

Re: Bromley (A) Thread

🔴🔵 A decent result notwithstanding the circumstances, especially having survived a penalty and last-gasp winner via wrongful interventions, but one that could've been better had Daggers not digressed so negatively from the first half. 💬 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/bromley-1...

Re: Bromley (A) Thread

Conflicting emotions after that. The bigger picture is it's a decent point at a hard place to go, which leaves us neatly positioned inside the playoffs with the added benefit of games in hand. However, difficult to be so pragmatic after the manner of the late equaliser, an inevitable consequence of ...

Bromley (A) Thread

Following two frost-induced postponements which intensify our backlog further along the line, we finally return to action seeking to regain seventh place against the very side who unavoidably usurped us for it at the weekend, Bromley. Big game. Hopefully we can continue our upturn in away league for...

Re: Maidenhead (Away) Postponed

Five Tuesday games scheduled with two more to come after the postponements this week, most likely a third if Altrincham beat the FA Trophy's lowest ranked remaining side to progress to the quarters which take place on the day they're meant to host us. It's gonna be a ridiculously busy end to the sea...
