Huge result.
Doesn't sound like a classic but the sort of game (along with Saturday) that could change our season. Lot of fight and resolve shown in both games.
We don't have a great record against them, although slightly better at their place than ours, so a terrific effort.

Re: Streaming Service
Was first time I had bought one of the games and after 10 mins I was wondering why I had bothered with it cutting out etc. After that I really enjoyed it and thought it was good product. I struggle watching football on telly these days, let alone through streams, as my interest in football now is mo...

Re: RIP Simmo
Totally shocked and saddened to see this news today. Simmo was part of the furniture at Victoria Road in my time watching and following the Club. Always stopped and had a chat at home games or away games, in the bar or at stations up and down the country as we followed the club. Always honest and up...

Re: Best goal you've ever seen live
Think you are few years out there D4E. I think it was the Conf winning season. I was there so would go for Feb 2007, in a 4-1 win. If I remember we didn’t play to well that night and still won 4-1 ha ha Favourite goal I would go with Sam Sloma at Oxford, March 07 or Robbo’s at Basingstoke, October 0...

Re: Barnet in trouble!
Agree with Arnu on this, not sure what there is to celebrate from a club struggling or going under at this time. Not only could this be the case for a number of clubs over the next few months, which won't be good, but there are people who work at these clubs who will be losing jobs who have bills to...

Re: M-m-m-my Corona
Certainly a little bit different to a normal Saturday!!! 52 weeks a year my Saturdays are either watching or playing sport, so this is all very odd (although I have had an hours cricket training in the garden with my two little uns)!! Have been working from home which is strange, and not for me real...

Re: AFC Fylde
Can only imagine the reaction on here if that performance had come under Taylor or WB. Bar the first ten minutes, and maybe ten minutes leading up to our goal, it was utterly appalling. Fylde were not great but second half they came out and absolutely did a number on us. With the fixtures we have le...

Re: Wrexham Away
That would mean a 23 team league by my maths.
So either 5 will be coming up from North/South or only 3 are going down.

Re: Taylor gone
Well said Lupins. Things didn't work out, and a change clearly had to be made. Personally think some of the things that have been said about him are a little bit in poor taste but there you go. Took it on at an awful time for the Club and stabalised things, but this season has obviously been dire. H...

Re: Who would you replace Taylor with?
Paul Tisdale!?!?!? You lot are on another planet. About as much chance as Sir Alex taking on the job. Meanwhile back in the real world.........................I would like Strevens. I think some kind of understanding or link to the area or the club is a good thing at our level, and he would have tha...

Re: Boreham Wood (H)
Well, I enjoyed the beers before the game, and the ruby after, but the game was not the best was it!!! First one I have seen this season, like D4E, so hard to judge individuals on 90 mins (or less in many cases). The first goal was coming. We had hardly touched the ball for the five minutes before. ...

Re: Boreham Wood (H)
Yep, agreed on all fronts, my first game of the season as well.
Am predicting a few beers, a 4-1 home win and a ruby after to finish the evening.
Good times.
