Re: Wilkinson

It’s either us or Gillingham for the rest of the season for Wilkinson, as I’m sure there’s FIFA rules that state you can’t play for more than two teams in one season. That should in theory put us in a better position to get him on loan until the end of the season. At the start, I’d say Mullings got ...

In essence, it’s £65 for a roast dinner if you have a season ticket. Ridiculous

Re: Halifax

Ref was absolutely useless. But when you’re playing against a berk like Kosylo, you have to factor in the fact that he’s a cheating c**t who will dive at every opportunity. Nunn should have known better- Robinson also looked close to getting 2 yellows too. I’m surprised no one has really mentioned ...

Re: That'll do nicely.

A good, battling performance Saturday. Rode our luck a fair bit but that’s expected against a team like Fylde. I still think that although Phipps and Robinson are doing well battling in the midfield, we need a player in there that can dictate a game, a better passer (although Robinson’s pass for the...

Re: Taylor Out

Jury is still out for me, will decide once we get a few more decent signings. No doubt the new signings have helped. Last time we won two in a row we then lost 5 on the bounce. A draw or win on Saturday will take us nicely into two week break for the players to charge their batteries. Yep, agree wi...

Re: Did anyone notice?

Yep, Garrard or someone similar to him needs to be the direction we go for with our next manager. We should already be looking for our next manager even if there’s no plan to get rid of Taylor imminently. There must be a level of discontent in this squad now. Adeloye, for example, must be pissed off...

Re: Out of the bottom four

Pleased with a point yesterday. Thought we limited Chesterfield to few chances and dealt with Denton very well. Again, Gordon was brilliant, especially on the ball. Makes a few mistakes here and there but that’s to be expected at his age! Just a quick word on Hines, such a shame to see him strugglin...

Re: Two from two...

If you look at our goal difference compared to the teams around us I think that speaks volumes. I was worried after the Hartlepool and Barnet games that being unlucky would be the story of our season, but full marks to the team, their heads haven’t dropped at all. Special mention to Romain, there is...

Re: Daggers YOOF

Criticism of Still baffles me. Yes, he's got a few things wrong this season like not signing a left back and perhaps having a squad that was too big. However, since Glyn officially I actually think we've played brilliantly with all things considered. Also, the recruitment side of things has generall...

Re: A Game Of Headers & Volleys Ep.26 w/ Steve Thompson

Very informative interview/podcast boys, well done.

Pleasing that Thommo was able to have a voice, and whilst I'm still worried about the club's predicament, I feel a little more assured after that interview.

Re: Banning orders

You may not be involved in those stickers Steve, but the fact is, the stickers and flags are seen as being a part of the same 'regime' by the club and Thommo. No excuses at all for the behaviour of ST on Saturday, but the stickers made can shed some light as to why he is so hostile towards certain f...

Re: Banning orders

Just thought I'd point out that stickers have also been made with Thommo's face and a North Korean flag. Thommo was wrong to behave in that way, but both sides are as bad as each other IMO.

Re: Conversation with Glyn Hopkin 7/2/2018

Why are people blowing smoke up Glyn Hopkins arse? He is not a monumental **** like Thompson is but he's still given the club false pretences and then ****** us by pulling out especially at such short notice, without guarantees of necessary financing. If he really cared about the club and genuinely...

Re: Conversation with Glyn Hopkin 7/2/2018

It's clear that the flags annoyed Glyn and he was worried about how this may effect the reputation of his company. But, I still don't believe that was the sole reason he pulled out of investing in the club. But what strikes me is how enthusiastic Glyn was at the start of the season about attracting ...
