Re: Time for a change
"The Idiots". To tell the truth this is one of the reasons I didn't come down for the game from Suffolk yesterday (apart from the inevitability of seeing another BD defeat!). If I were still involved with the club in any way I'd be bringing this up at the next meeting as a matter of import...

Re: How is this fair on the players?
I agree 100% Mike. On the rare occasions I've travelled to an away match I've often been embarrassed (at best) by the overall behaviour of some of our 'supporters', ranging from childish to downright foul mouthed and abusive. Sadly I hear much of the latter around me at home games too. It's got to s...

Re: Changes to the National League
'Big Changes'...my foot! The most salient line in that is: 'But as yet, the league are no further down the line for three up, three down from the EFL' No point fiddling with the play off format until that becomes a serious discussion topic. 7th place! Why not have play offs from August onwards, ditc...

Re: On play offs
An incidental point: someone called Gavin Glenrick Tomlin played (until substituted) in the Ryman Premier play off yesterday. He didn't score so it couldn't have been...
Winners were Bognor Regis (in front of over 3000) so I expect Craig Robson to be pleased and Sussex Dagger to comment maybe.

On play offs
Everyone that knows me will recognise my view that play offs are ridiculously unfair and exciting, both at the same time. Whilst we are obsessing about our chances of success (fair I'd say but, of course, only 1 in 4 ) I don't expect Tranmere are wildly enamoured of meeting an in form Aldershot, unb...

I think that watch is bigger than any of the clocks I have ever owned.

Re: Must watch
Yes indeed - what an escape! Goodness knows what state we'd all be in by now. I wouldn't want to be in a 500 mile radius if Billericay don't get promoted. I would say though - having stood behind a brick wall listening - that a YouTube Ted Hardy half time 'talk' when things were not going well would...

Re: Tonight`s forum what are your view`s
Yes, well done Merge. An interesting read but a meeting which leaves more questions than answers I feel.(Did you get satisfactory answers to your 4 questions Alan, posed in another thread for example?). So... Am I right in understanding that from Monday we are now completing this season on borrowed ...

Final thoughts from afar
I dread tonight I really do (and I don't mean drawing Westfields away). It seems to me, unless there has been/is a great unloading of information prior, that members are going to vote on basically hearsay, incomplete and/or contradictory information together with an insidious campaign to gain favour...

Ponderings
I haven’t ever posted on this Forum – although I was a regular on the Steve McG’s – but feel moved to do so here by the current situation at the club. Now living away from London it’s difficult to get to many matches but I retain my season ticket. For those who don’t know me, I have supported the cl...
