Sports science intern
I think the club are out of order asking for a 12 month unpaid intern. The lucky applicant will be expected to work both during the week and on match days, for a year, for no pay whatsoever. Are we going to ask stewards and turnstile operators to work on a voluntary internship basis? Bar staff? Play...

Re: Contracts so far
I think it's time to cut Baucard some slack. You got your wish granted when Burnett got sacked. If Johnny Hoof is half the manager you know he is he'll get this bloke playing. He's clearly a very skill full player and has done well elsewhere. He should piss this league I say give him a 2nd chance. ...

Re: New Signing ????0"
Players are free from January each year to sign and announce contracts with new clubs when they will be out of contract, the so called "pre-contract", or at least that was my understanding. Pretty sure January is only for moves to foreign climes... can only be announced from 1st June to m...

Re: Season Tickets
They're good for the clubs who have them, I do agree, mainly for revenue purposes. I do think they currently give them an advantage in performance too - the bounce and run of the ball is still a bit different and difficult to get used to for away teams. Last time I played on a modern plastic pitch ...

Re: On This Day
To be fair, results did improve - first half season 13 points, second half of season 21 points. Still not good enough though. I've said before, the job should have been advertised and the last few years before Still left were dreadful. But I quite understand why the board went for somebody they know...

Re: Conference club...
I wont take long... If we're naturally a conference club based on attendances/budget then really Wayne Burnett's 9th and 14th finish in league 2 flew in the face of expectation. I'll get me coat ! That made me chuckle. A factor that has been missing in recent seasons is administration and 10 point ...

Indeed Mark - he was a great foul for Benno.
I think JC is the only striker since then to get 16 in a season for us?

I don't mind hoofball done well. But we have to go back to Benno Danny Green Jon Nurse and Josh Scott for the last time we did that at all effectively.About 5 years ago. Josh Scott? One game wonder...... I think you are naming names that you know... He was as bad as Marvelous Marv iMO Bit harsh - he...
