Re: Shock news

It might suit both clubs to keep the figures to themselves.
Both are in the market for other players so won't want prospective sellers to have a benchmark to use in the negotiations

Re: What do we know........

Tyrique has normally played central midfield when I've seen him. He is a powerful but stylish player in the mould of his dad Micah. He's just finished his first year scholar and was also playing in the U18's as a 15 year old. He has a chance in my opinion Kai Heather is the type who could become a f...

Re: Dagenham academy

No parents ever got expenses reimbursed at Daggers Academy
Terrible shame if it has closed

Re: Shock news

The Head of Recruitment and Coventry said it was their most valuable signing in years. It's described as 'undisclosed' so my hunch is that the Coventry fan is on a wind up

Re: Shock news

Jodi still had a year to go on his contract with Daggers My understanding is that a six figure fee was paid to Daggers with a significant percentage of any sell on fee should Coventry sell him during the 4 years of his contract with them I suspect that there will also be additional payments based on...

Re: Jimmy Shepherd

Sheps can play full back or central defence but I guess it's better to start at full back while he gets used to men's football. He has reasonable pace and can overlap and cross effectively

Jimmy Shepherd

Those of us who have watched the youth team in the past few years knew that Jimmy was the next one most likely to step up. He's a strong lad with a boxing background and has a good temperament Naturally he's very young so has a lot to learn which is perhaps even more important as a defender Hopefull...

Re: Currie's post much interview

It doesn't help when there were 4 or 5 changes in the team week to week
There was never a settled team or pattern of play

Re: Currie's post much interview

Just listen to Currie's post match interview and it's nice to finally here someone telling the truth. He was saying about a lot of our players showing no fight or passion and he's right. It's so frustrating as I know that if the players wanted it more, we have a good enough squad to stay up. Wonder...

He's on loan till the end of the season
No deal for permanent transfer can be finalised till Coventry's season finishes

Re: Morecambe Predictions

Alan's right. It was just a case of the players getting nervy when they should have been putting in challenges up the field.
Instead everyone was getting behind the ball inviting Morecambe further and further forward

Nice to see Jodi in the crowd supporting his team mates incidentally

Re: Jodi Jones

Jodi came home from Everton with the youth team who he has played with since joining Daggers to attend the 18th birthday celebrations of a team mate. It was with full agreement of the club.
He usually comes back from away matches in the family car as he doesn't drive yet.
