They've done exceptionally well to get this far! Just up the road from here, and plenty of time to do the shopping as well!Sagres wrote:Westfields are the lowest-ranked side remaining in the FA Cup

Re: FA Cup: Daggers V Stones
Decent read as usual. It was actually a 2-1 home win for Wealdstone against Banbury in the last round!

If we progress, heart says a test against an EFL team, head says give us a minnow and progression to the 2nd round!

Re: Will you still support the Daggers
I've supported the Daggers in spite of the many "problems" over recent years. Anyone deciding to abandon the team because they are not happy at off the field activities is somewhat puzzling to me!

Re: The reality...
Ironically this is how things may work out. On Saturday we MAY progress to the first round proper of the FA cup, and get a chance of making money (especially if it gets live tv coverage). On Monday Glen Tamplin takes the next step towards getting control of the club. While all the intricacies are be...

Re: ESC & FA CUP
Just booked my usual seat for the FA cup game! Hopefully we wont need a replay this time around (although BT might be tempted to televise it if it happened)! Hoping we get a good turn out to cheer the guys on. They definitely deserve it.

Re: Is it just me?
This present squad are actually getting stuck in and not what appeared last season as going through the motions. Win or lose, I leave games feeling that in the main we have given our best.

Re: Ronnie Moore Post Match
Did Ronnie really mean to say all that!? Like others in the past, he should have tempered what he said. Worrying though to know we could/should have been on the end of a hammering! :D

Re: FA Cup
Wealdstone fans appear more than happy with the admission prices for this game! Also noticed that if there's a replay required, it will cost more to watch at their place!

Re: Yet another poll
I very much agree with BB-Dagger on this. Having spent a fair bit of time around the club in the past (on non match days), it did come across that Thommo was not the most "charismatic" of people, but personally have found him fine! He has tackled a very difficult job well (all things consi...

Should we progress, we may have a chance of testing an EFL club with the chance of a giant killing!

Re: Another Question
Something we will never know the answer to, but the effort and application from the current squad is far superior to anything we had to endure during the prior 2 years. If we falter over the next few months, I very much doubt it will be for lack of trying.
