Re: West Ham's Athletics Stadium
I have a confession to make - I went to see a game at the new stadium in the Europa League. It was a typical West Ham game - they lost! But what struck me was the vast number of people employed to ensure the safety of everyone. Of course 54,000 is a lot more than the 1,200 we get, but the number of ...

What a shame
.... that we have such a stonking away win, with most of the teams around us dropping points and yet the club is being bogged down by Tamplingate. Well done to the team. Excellent. Errrm, have Peterborough started negotiations for the "loanbutitisreallyasaleoutsidethetransferwindow" For Ha...

Re: Tamplin - Yes or No
The option of "no, with a lot of abuse thrown in" wasn't available so it was just "hell no" from me.

Re: Kane Ferdinand
Have East Thurrock United now got a sugar daddy? They seem to have made vast strides in a couple of years, managed promotion to National League South for this season and won 6-0!away at a club 350 miles away last Saturday. Their entire gate receipts for the season won't cover Ferdinands wages, let a...

Isn't it a plastic pitch? Could be problematic.

Re: Dave Bennett interview
Well done, Mike, excellent interview. Whilst in many ways it was heartwarming and very nice, it didn't actually go anywhere. As we sit here, we have a team that has had one unfortunate game, but won all the others (with the exception of Lincoln, at a canter), clearly many of the fans are like me and...

Re: Protest
Tamplin apparently doesn't like abuse, even though from what I have seen he hasn't received any.
Maybe time for him to realise the vast majority of true fans don't want him, and let the abuse (or strongly worded comments of our discontent, to be more accurate) begin. Without the fans there is no club.

Is it time to say "thanks, but no thanks, Mr Tamplin"?
We were told that we need this new investment in order to be able to "compete for a top 5 finish". Well here we are sitting in fourth place so surely the last thing we want to do is rock the boat. Of course it is early days, and it would be stupid to think we will stay in this position all...

Re: Dear mr tampon
As the new season starts I thought I would add my comment regarding this situation. If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck ........ it is a duck. It looks like another Hornchurch. There are probably only 7-800 real supporters who eat, drink and sleep Dag and Red. Alienat...

Re: Tamplin has pulled out?
I would also be more than happy to invest ..... although "invest" is probably the wrong word as the likelihood of making a profit is almost nil. But if it keeps the club in the hands of the real supporters then it has to be the way forward. Surely the Hannings, Goodwins, Easts, Wests and A...

Re: Dagenham & Redbridge F.C. - For Sale ???
Assets £1.8million, liabilities £1.1 million, net worth £98,500 hardly makes him Roman Abramovich, does it? Probably half our adult supporters have got more.
It fills me with dread rather than excitement ....... but then I am always the pessimist!

Re: The EU Referendum
Just to clarify, with the exception of France and UK, all members of the EU adopt a generally unilateral and pacifist stance towards defence, and most do not come near the NATO commitment of 2% GDP on defence. If we have to rely on the EU for our defence, heaven help us. In intelligence and counter ...

Re: The EU Referendum
This is a point so often brought up by the Remain campaign. But it is baseless, isn't it? You could say NATO has helped keep the peace but what exactly has the EU done? It didn't help in Yugoslavia, did it? And if you read the details it is clear that the Ukraine conflict was a direct result of the ...

Re: The EU Referendum
Absolutely agree with your comments there, Paul, but that is not an EU issue except insofar as it shows that one of the member countries (France) totally ignores EU rules and refuses to do anything about illegal migrants camped on its territory. You really do seem to agree with all the "leave&q...
