Oldham Athletic Home

We are playing a team tomorrow with a good support base who are just outside the play-offs who would obviously like to get back to playing in the football league. With Phipps playing up front recently, this gamble has surprisingly been a success. We need to play well again and if so I think could ge...

Re: 2024/25 Squad

I just believe that supporting teams through the good times is easy, however, when things become difficult for a club due to financial issues, relegation etc it is even more essential that supporters come together to help the club during these difficult times. We have over the years seen so many clu...

Re: 2024/25 Squad

And if a lot of season ticket holders like yourself decide to not renewal, then surely the financial position of the club becomes further unstable and they'll be little or no chance of survival next year. For me, its become more important to support the club during these difficult times and that in...

Re: 2024/25 Squad

Appiah-Forson has been brilliant for us and would be a great signing, he is also good enough to play at a higher level which is far more likely. With regard to Effiong, would love to keep him, however, he is 33 years old so cannot see him going up a level but would still be sought after by clubs in ...

Re: Maidenhead home

A great display in the first half with two very well worked goals. The game seemed very disjointed in the second half with too many breaks in the play but still another two goals scored by us. Overall, four goals without a recognised striker has got to be a great day at the office. Lots of candidate...

Maidenhead home

With more injuries incurred in the last week it makes it an even tougher game for us tomorrow. Maidenhead are a team that seem to punch above their weight each season but just hope that we can get the three points to keep us away from the relegation area. Apart from Oxford City who seem all but rele...

Re: Southend Away KO Time

Despite the injuries in the first half in which we should have sown the game up, we battled well and came away with a point. Well done the lads.

It hasn't worked out for him here for whatever reason ,on that basis his departure is a good thing.

NBDag wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2024 9:35 am Maybe we’re hiding him away for a week and planning to re-announce him as a new striker and saviour to our season. As we all know we aren’t going to get one in, even with our noble owners making the trip over last Saturday.
You could be spot on with that!

Freddie Sears where are you?

The physio gave an update on our injured players a few days ago but no mention of Freddie Sears. Was he simply dropped from the match day squad or is there something more to it I wonder.

Re: Altrincham home

The surprising thing about the performances in the last few matches is the improvement of the midfield and the way it competes now. Josh Rees, while he still has his moments of ineptness, has changed from the player of earlier in the season that seemed not to have any idea of what to do to one that...

Re: Altrincham home

At the game yesterday there was a rumour that Sears had left to join Hornchurch.
Is there any truth in this?
