Balanta if we could do a deal that financially favours the club.
Weston as an impact sub next season if he'd settle for that.
Ibie potentially but we haven't seen much of him.
The rest can go.

Re: New Manager
Would be very disappointed if it's Garrard.

Re: McMahon
First thing the Americans should do is go and get a football person to head up the recruitment process. Thompson has at best a 50/50 chance of getting it right, and an even smaller chance of being the manager's boss successfully over a period of time. I think we all hoped Tim Howard would eventually...

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
In the worst days of Taylor, the wags stood on the terrace with us at Bromley away. That was an interesting day... Plenty of verbal traded.

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
They've definitely been counting tickets rather than attendance recently. Some of the crowds we've had have been worse than our Ryman days in the 90s. No way there were 1000 daggers fans there.

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
Thought it was another turgid performance not too dissimilar to many others against a very poor side that we just about had enough to beat. Great to see Ang back with his obvious quality, not sure how he fits in longer term as I don't think we have enough around him to accommodate such an immobile p...

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread
What more can be said. Great summary of our dreadful set of results above. He's got to go.

Re: Solihull Moors
Football fans love to moan, I know I do. Thought yesterday was much like many of our performances - scrappy, underwhelming. Two major differences though - one player produced two moments of quality way above anything else on the pitch, and we actually showed some meanness to keep them out in ...

Re: Last minute goals
He just calls the players out for individual errors or not being clinical enough in both boxes. A good manager gives players the tools to do these things successfully, improves them, or identifies and acquires better replacements.

Re: Last minute goals
He has dipped a little since Glen Johnson left imo. Agree his main issue is inability to claim crosses that are very close to his goal. Still a great GK though.

Re: It's time now....
After we thumped Wrexham end of last season, spirits were high and felt like we were close to being a contender. We needed to retain Comley, then find 3 quality players - CB, CDM, LWB. Manager completely failed over the summer. We've continually messed around with the defence, we signed crocks, we c...

Re: Yeovil..
We're two bad results away from the bottom half. I just can't get excited about this season despite our 'playoff position' because we hardly ever play well, we hardly ever play on the front foot, and we lob in a terrible result every few weeks. Three years the manager has been here and we still have...

Re: Bromley (A) Thread
Junior stuck out wide because the manager cannot recruit for a system. There is no ideal 11 for either his 352 or 433. I much prefer the 433 though.

Re: Bromley (A) Thread
Better side for me and unlucky not to win it. Actually thought our midfield was very good, dominated their opponents. We did drop off a bit second half but I felt it was partly due to Bromley improving and also they weren't causing us any real problems. You do always think with us that the sucker pu...
