Re: That's More Like It
Not sure how Weston starts every game, and I think he's been generally poor for a while. Obviously missed a big chance to put us 2 up and then gave the ball away needlessly to offer up Wood a rare chance. I'm not his biggest fan but I'd rather Saunders be given a chance from the start.

Re: Season over then
Agree with that. If it's true, it's out of order. End of.

Re: Oldham
Why is it that the disloyalty to the Daggers that so many contributors to this forum display also think that same disloyalty applies to the players. As the previous contributor commented how do they know that players are unhappy and want to be off or is it just rumour. This forum seems to be riddle...

Re: Morias Gone
Shame to see him depart. He's certainly rebuilt his career with us after being at Kings Lynn. One of my favourite players of the past few years, had a form dip but always gave his best. Good luck to him. As for Strevens one must believe he's had some assurances around budget and signings. Or maybe h...

Re: New Manager
Decent appointment I think. A few saying it smacks of the same ole but others saying it's good he has a connection to the club. I think for me you look at his record and how well he is still regarded at Eastleigh as we've seen here, and looking at social media. Not many dissenting voices overall.

Re: Wrexham (H) Thread
Was men against boys. As someone said, not one of our players would get near their team. I don't think we gave up as I've heard, we were just outplayed.

Re: New Manager
Need to stop mentioning Cowley/s His career has definitely failed to live up to expectations having somewhat stalled but there is no way he has dropped so far to be managing in the NL unless it was a Wrexham type appointment I suspect..

Yep, as ever it's always the hope that kills you. Defend like demons against a good team on Saturday, defend like numptys against a very average team tonight..

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
Yeah we played pretty well for 25 mins second half and should have been more comfortable. I think Saunders did quite well but Balanta for me stood out a bit more with his deft touches, link play and neat finish. I'm not sure I entirely agree about the ref; sure we've seen much worse but couldn't bel...

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread
One win in eight including the Trophy tie. And that was still a poor performance last week against Solihull. Lost six. And have others have pointed out what compounds it is the level of some of that opposition; Oldham, Scunthorpe, Yeovil and Maidenhead. If he hasn't gone before Tuesday then he surel...

Re: Solihull Moors
Yep as noted by others, the game has been commented on on another thread but I suppose the lack of a team's name in a separate post (as per normal) means the OP didn't notice. I also thought Solihull were slightly better; quite neat and tidy in possession without creating much. However, two moments ...

Re: Bye Paul McCallum
I think we saw the best of him in a Daggers shirt a while back so I'm sanguine about this. Scored a fair amount but another one who for me didn't quite live up to expectations. Also a bit lazy for me, needs really good service, maybe he'll get it at Chesterfield.

Re: It's time now....
It really is time for Darryl to go now. The comments on the final whistle tweet are horrendous but unanimous. There are only 2 people in the entire club who can't see that this is a complete waste of time and money. The owners need to stop backing a manager who can't get a tune out of a pretty dece...

Re: It's time now....
I've not called out the manager before now. Like you say he seems like a decent bloke and I like that largely he likes his teams to be attack minded. But it's been largely mediocre under him. I think he got away with it last year finishing strongly to get 8th and albeit outside playoffs, probably si...

Re: Points to stay up
No, this is utterly ridiculous, (unless tongues are firmly in cheeks) but I'll cut you both some slack because I am very disappointed the way the team are in apparent free fall..
