Re: Poor

Thought dealt with you comfortably. Could have scored 3 or 4 first half and bosses the second half. Missed Leonard's goal as I shot down early to get a pint. How did your keeper not get sent off? Blatant foul when our player was through. Should have been a red and a pen. Good luck for the rest of th...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

It's been that way for years and tbh makes no odds in league two or league one. It was the same set up in the championship and we sold out the home ends regularly. We hit the 11400 on a handful of occasions. We have been trying to get a new stadium of the ground for years but with a chairman like ou...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

The capacity of roots hall is not 12500 as we have loads of restricted view and segregation seats that will never be sold. Even when we played man u and Chelsea we had 11400. In reality there are only around 8500 home seats as the away end holds 2200 plus there are about 600-800 seats seperating the...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

You obviously havent been to wimbledon away or Accrington away or luton away.

The away end is not great but its not the worst be a country mile.

Plenty of seats for any team at this level.

Re: Southend - Away Fans

Of course we let away fans in but hardly any visit. I think us and hartlepool are the least visited grounds in England. Away Support out of the equation we still get around 5.5k per game as most teams bring about 200 odd. Even pompey only just grazed a 1000 odd. As for Saturday all seats sold and te...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

As for the Derby thing. Col u and orient have been a Derby for sometime and we have only had matches against you in recent years. Typically we have played those teams in promotion and relegation battles and at higher levels of football. Personally doubt we will ever see daggers as a Derby match. I w...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

Our average gate this season is currently at 5800 and with a few big games and an end of season promotion push we will easily average 6k. As for the away game. We will sell out 100%. Simple as. Quite a few are waiting for terrace which only go on sale when the seats go which will be sold by today or...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

Of course we bring less percentage wise. Are you Going to give us 3000 tickets? If so many of our fans follow other clubs why is it that when the prem is on at the same time our attendances aren't affected. I know a few former hammers that moved to the area and have become Southend and haven't Been ...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

Yes we are in the same league and I am genuinely pleased that daggers are again pulling away from danger. We are happy with who we are and I'm happy with fourth spot and a chance of the autos. I don't see Dagenham as a Derby but I am enjoying see col u and orient struggle. Don't feel sorry for us. W...

Re: Southend - Away Fans

You mock us for supporting another club yet admit you go to west ham.
I'd say 95% of our support are Southend alone.
Do you expect championship gates at league two?
We had Cheltenham and Accrington visit in one week and brought less the 100 combined. We are happy with our gates at this level.

Re: Southend - Away Fans

Your post makes no sense mate. Our away end holds 2200 which can accommodate your whole support. Your away end holds 1400 and can only accommodate a quarter of our support. We can only sell what we are given. Our away support this season has probably averaged around 700 per match which is great at l...

Re: Genuine question

As a Southend fan I doubt there will be any trouble at all. There are always dickheads out and about but reckon it will verbal at most. As Derby games go its much friendlier than orient and col u. I like visiting the daggers and the away end is top class at this level. Probably be around 1500 in the...

Re: Shrimpys view

Really surprised by the comments about aggro. We are hardly renowned for it. Even more surprised with the praise for Myles Weston. He has been piss poor and Saturday was no different. Are you sure you don't mean shaquille coulthurst who played wide left for the last half an hour and tore you a new a...
