Re: Foreign players
See this afternoon's prestige 'London final' has just six English born out of the 22 on the field, Cahill & JT on the blue side and four others on the lilywhites.

Re: Mansfield
Just got in, O no! Here we go again, get a splendid result and display at Morecambe and two weeks down the line with the same team look a shadow of that side, can't understand D R's mentality to come out and not see off a team of Mansfield's capability, take my word they were there for the taking, o...

Re: Mansfield
Same train mate. Hope we don't go stone cold up here like last year, would have rather played them a month or so back when they were off song a bit but seem to be getting a few more points lately. I May perhaps wander out of Nottingham main train station on the way up and take a peep at Hooters bar ...

Re: Where will we finish?
I think that's about right RD, I'd go along with about that position, after the more dread fall past seems to slightly have corrected itself as of late think there's sides below us who are in the right shit and be amazed if the Pools can bag so many wins and the rest sink so fast and so really there...

Re: Foreign players
From the o.p, well that's double better than when I watched City play at Southampton on B/T or was it Sky? about noon in Manchester City center the day after our game at Bury. they just had Hart in goal. I was surrounded by Mancs and mentioned it more than once and like any fan of the elite tier tod...

Re: The Dagger Match Programme
Couldn't agree more, our match day programme needs a re-vamp, buy one home and away and hate to think how that adds up come May but it just seems to me part and parcel of doing footie, sitting in a boozer before kick off it just seems to go down well like buying a pie at half time. Were always told ...

Re: Quick note for RadioStu & Mick
We can't kid ourselves here the better team won, and when we did take the lead and when they quickly equalized through awful defending not once but twice later on we lost our momentum and just simply collapsed, actually pretty awful finale in the end. Actually thought scoring that goal in the end be...

Re: Burton Albion
After the gallant performance at Morecambe and so amazed how well they all teamed up together have so much more confidence on us coming away trumps for this one, but this outfit are an class act and have been up there high all season, as long as we don't go down post Carlisle, Bury route and fail ag...

Re: Get in
The more I see of Widdowson playing for us the more I like, seems to fit in so well again today.

Re: Get in
Turned out a great long tiring weekend but the team are really shaping into what surely must at last be the side Wayne has got working his best 11. So quick off the mark missed Luke's opener like many others around me and quite a few lads missed the quick goal after the break buried underneath the f...

Re: Morecambe
Its gotta be a win 2-1, train it and zig zagging tomorrow early all over West Midlands as our grand friends Network rail are upping sticks somewhere near MK's and don't mention about trying to leave Sunday morning by public transport, mission impossible, can't understand how our little club agreed o...

Re: Away attendance
If they plunge and WE (Remember we're not out of it yet) are not jettisoned to Friday nights on BT sport, Leyton Orient could be a game to look forward too, doorstep and potential good derby atmosphere, and they along with perhaps a few others like the U's would pretty much fill TBS. Well impressed ...

Re: Pompey (H)
I'd rather be facing the Pompey boys about now than a few weeks back, and surely after three dismal results against them especially that slaughtering at home we got to walk away winners at last, hope the boys remember that those first forty minutes against them at Fratton Park way back mid September...

Re: Oh and another thing
Yeah rightly so not to get too carried away, its been a better period lately but I remember to well that after the good wins of Carlisle and a great win up at Bury thought 'we had rode the storm' and were out of it then to no avail go on a slide again, but a big, but to pull out a good win Tuesday n...

Re: York
Overall yesterday a very enjoyable day and a performance that deserved a push up the table, thought the whole team steadied the ship in all departments, yes York are at present a very poor side but couldn't see throughout the game our boys letting it slip. Jamie took his goals really well and though...
