Re: Transfer news

Missing the point Devon Dagger. The minute the board put out the begging bowl is the minute they owed it to those buying in to this plan to be more open. We are only hearing the downside of everything On the contrary I do understand what you mean regarding transparency regarding our donation 'goal'...

Re: Transfer news

Some strange posts here. Fejiri was perhaps our best player in the second half of the season. We’re desperate for cash and the board made it clear several times that anyone we could sell, would be sold. If your season ticket depended on Fejiri’s future alone, firstly I dread to think what you may ha...

If fans are being asked for donations to ensure the continued exsistance of the Club then transfer of assets be kept sectet aint really on.
It’s usually the purchasing club that request any fees are kept undisclosed.

Re: And the Daggers new manager is...

Is anyone a bit sceptical I'm hearing these gills fans knocking Taylor for his defensive choice of tactics. Not my views BTW, I'm just putting in there. You can probably dig something up about every manager, especially at this level. Most Barnet fans seem absolutely overjoyed at Still and now Curri...

Re: Season ticket Poll

For logistical reasons I've never bought a season ticket and this season will be no different. However, I do plan once again to come to as many games as I can this season. If it's less than the finished season then it will only be due to a clash of events or financial reasons (the fuel/train ticket ...

Re: Management Changes and departures

Let's get this right, no chairman, no money , no players ,no coaching staff and people are expecting a manager with champions league experience to work for nothing ? What of the above apart from champions league experience a necessity have I got wrong ? I can't wait !! I share the feeling of 'there...

Re: Applications invited for 1st team manager

You see it so often from supporters of all clubs that when an experienced manager departs, they'll often want someone 'young, fresh and with a point to prove''. Then when that goes wrong they want someone who is 'experienced, back to basics and knows the league', then back to the young manager when ...

Re: good luck..

Am I wrong in backing Tranmere? If they don’t go up this year, they will surely do it next year , plus there are two strong teams coming down (although Chesterfield might do a York). I wish the boys well but it’s Tranmere for me. Given it was their third attempt, their fans had probably had enough ...

Re: Playoffs

Got a feeling for Ebbsfleet, they're the form team. I think a lot will depend on if they're fit enough after Wednesday night otherwise it'll catch up with them. Think it may have. Not aided by this one having gone to extra time as per Wednesday. People were moaning about the crowd at Wembley for Tr...

As it happens, this is currently up for vote in the summer for the EFL. Don't know National League standing on it.

Re: From Facebook

If Glyn chipping in is keeping the club alive, so be it, I don't think he should be criticised for this. I remember him stating that his solicitors/advisers/etc had told him the supporters' flags will give him a bad image. I've said it before - I wonder if those same advisers at the time also cared ...

Re: Prediction Game Thread - Macclesfield (A)

We do all sorts of games like this at work, I either win or come last, so I know what to expect next season if we do it again.

Only one suggestion I can make is perhaps if you get the first goalscorer correct that should yield 1 point even if you get everything else completely wrong?
