Re: Prediction Game - Barnet (A)
Going to change my prediction and highly doubt it'll be something I rue in days to come. Now going for 2-1 Barnet with Barham breaking the deadlock.

Re: Jack Munns
Saw that too, didn't know it was him at the time. Looked quite a decent player, very nippy and quick on the ball. However there's a thread on the Hartlepool forum about him and they're not too complimentary so he hardly excelled there, much like Adeloye.

Re: Hornchurch friendly
Solihull Moors have now found an investor, funny that. Absolutely baffling how small clubs on tiny attendances like Solihull and Gateshead manage to find investors after only being on the market for a relatively brief period. We, however: have the best facilities of the three, are ex-FL with a grou...

Re: Hornchurch friendly
Did any of the lads who played Saturday, get a game last night, Joel? It was pretty much our second team. The only player to get minutes on Saturday and also play yesterday was Noel Leighton, who capped a very good display with a well-taken goal and will probably start on Saturday. I say good displ...

Re: Hornchurch friendly
I've forgotten the worst part! Would anynody believe me if I said it was Hornchurch's reserve side? At half time there was a member of their staff circling the pitch and I overheard him saying "this lot could teach the first team a few things" so I asked him and he said that most playing w...

Re: We need a captain to lead the team.
Whilst on the subject. It was good to see Ben Nunn at Halifax Saturday. Smacks of a great attitude making thatt trip when you are not playing Should have seen him join the celebrations for the first equaliser against Maidenhead. He comes across as a great character and hopefully he returns very soon.

Re: Hornchurch friendly
We lost 4-2 and didn't look great to be honest. Were regularly sliced apart by the Urchins despite having a decent enough team including the likes of Harfield, Blanchfield and Leighton, as well as players of the mould of Bonds, Hyde and Balogun. After being humbled by four goals, we pulled one back ...

Re: To start vs Halifax
Agreed. Every goal this season that we've conceded has been poor on either the part of the keeper or his defence. Admittedly Justham is a much more imposing presence but even when the most central strike comes at him, I'm never confident that he'll not either spill it to a rebounding striker or fumb...

Re: The next six/where does the first win come from
As soon as we get that first win I think we'll start to pick up points at a more rapid pace. The problem is that not many sides will look as poor as Maidenhead and Maidstone so if we can't pick up points from those I struggle to see where they're coming from.

Re: The Boss Better Watch His Back: Things Not Good At Barnet
Heard yesterday that they've got Chesterfield away next weekend. As things stand John Still may not even last until our trip down there. Or, even better, maybe we can put the final nail in.

Re: To start vs Halifax
Pretty much the same level of performance we've started the season with, but disappointingly overshadowed by two moments of idiocy and errors. Once again we started the game with our backs to the wall and their first goal was ridiculous, McQueen slipped giving Kosylo a free run at goal and Justham s...

Re: Aldershot
One point from four games isn't ideal but when you look at the situation, us having by far the most inexperienced team in the division, the fact that it's only the odd goal beating us surely offers hope. It's only fine margins preventing us from getting the points and by now we could quite conceivab...
