Re: Team v Aldershot

Hogan had to retire from not playing football due to injury to his burger eating arm.

Re: Team v Aldershot

Maybe if we stretched all the flags over the goal it would help keep the ball out.

Re: Tamplin Watch

O'Hara bit heavily at the opposition official twitter feed. Very embarrassing.

Re: Scott Doe

Maybe he needs to move to a different area for non football reasons? The wording is bad for a statement but at least the club have tried to dispel the rumour about an argument.

Re: Club Statement

I'm a bit surprised he's pulled the plug completely given he apparently paid 1m for his stake. If we're looking for a buyer and haemorrhage players, fans, and don't win again this season then surely the amount he can sell for is vastly reduced. I know nobody would buy it off him for what he paid whe...

Re: Halifax Away

Sorry to say I've backed against us and won a few times this season. The odds the bookies give on non league can sometimes be a bit wrong.

Re: Player Releases...

It doesn't matter who stays and who goes. They will offload whoever a non league side will take.

How we have spent all that money without even a great team to show for it is pathetic. Money going out the door hand over fist and our squad isn't even very good!

Re: Takeover off

If someone pulling financial support can cause us to fall in the shit so quickly to a point that sale/gift of players can't solve it then things must be a lot worse than we were originally told. The original story sounded like some money to bring in a handful of extra players to boost our promotion ...

Re: Takeover off

I did read parts of that. I find it odd that ex-fleet nature of the car is considered to be something the dealer has to disclose up front. If that's the rules then so be it, but seems flaky to me.

Re: Takeover off

I'm really confused by that legal action. Unless they were advertised as something they aren't e.g. One careful owner, then it just sounds like opportunism. The consumer should check the history of the car if they so wish.

Re: Takeover off

Woking definitely need a centre back but no idea why he'd want to go there under normal circumstances. Guess the falling out has caused it.

Re: Takeover off

Can anyone explain why we'd be up the creek without Glyn? If we can offload enough players to make the wage bill manageable then we are still a bottom half conference club?

Re: Takeover off

I'm unsure of the legality. I don't know whether the large gap between date of submission to CH and the dates on the documents raise questions.
