Re: Wrexham

Don't often do live tv games but so glad with this one, that was a great game to watch and just hope (although I doubt it )the replay will be shown? both sides really giving it a go, end to end stuff and bringing the 'demoted' glories of the FA Cup spectacle back. That surely will go into the vaults.

Re: Yeovil..

Yet again with a few more punters in the colliseum we dropped a clanger! In over 50 years of football dont think I've ever seen a player after an incident run to his Manager and grab a signal to pass on' he's gotta go' to which that Ref kindly obliged after what was running towards 5 minutes? And al...

Re: Maidenhead (FA Trophy, Home)

Nothing new here ever since bigger money feed of lets just concentrate on promotion totally killed off almost all cup competitions especially in higher pyramid, managers either they just put out dummy sides or effort on field is less excuberating, why do we bother? Suppose its just in our blood to v...

Re: Woking..

All the above posts are a very good summary why we basically are still where we were 5 years or so ago, I suppose you always will have to have an element of luck going your way whether getting into the final play off places or even to win the final, look at Hartlepool a couple of seasons back, but e...

Re: Woking..

Quite surprised how Woking under Sarll have come to be quite a force, a side that plays to a good shape and seems every player knows how to fit and work to his system and an attractive one at that, even though when we got our goal which was a very good move and probably the only bright spot of the a...

zero, from looking out my window today, you know the cliche a few inches and Britain comes to a halt albeit to be fair it is more of a problem when its minus 4 plus with ice under the snow, we do have an excellent pitch now though

Re: Gillingham FC FA Cup Replay Thursday 8th December 2022

Double blowout, first game stoppage time and now tonight seconds from extra time, how cruel but it was in our hands and we paid the price in the end, well done to all who went on a blistery cold night

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw

I sure hope so , but if my memory corrects me can't remember if it went like that before the Everton game? All I remember quite a queue pulling well back outside that old portocabin when we were given the release dates

Re: Gateshead FC Saturday 10th December 2022

With the who har of trying to travel or not at all around rail strikes, missing games etc other than unpredictable North East weather there was one game that was going to see out a pretty drab end of the year and most of us felt confident enough to book it up fairly well in advance whether hotels or...

Re: Gillingham

Thought they looked a side that arrived out the Conference South no wonder Fylde took them to 180 minutes, Josh really took his goal well and yet again missing out on a second cost us dearly but if the boys hold on to that sort of determination and Westy stays as threatning cannot see us dropping th...

Re: Solihull Moors (A) squawks

Colossal win today against a side been flying high for a considerable time and we thoroughly deserved it, obviously a goal a minute or two in was massive but our defending today was top form and what we liked was even at 3 nil up we wanted nothing more but to spring back on the attack, Elliot Justha...

Re: Wealdstone (H) wailings can go here.

Yeah this game certainly had just about everything, such a pity they scored so late in game as to leave it 4 nil would prove how well we outplayed them and showcase the result in a better light, although did notice their No.7 the Ilford lad Allarakhia especially second half down the left flank was p...

Re: Boreham Wood (H) groanings

Do love it when Junior Morais runs across a packed tight defence and edging for a gap you don't see that much today and with the added bonus he can really clout that ball given a quick second or two , just need to partner him up with another striker who can divert one or two on the opposing back lin...
