Re: King's Lynn

Winning when you don’t play well is a good habit. Big boost to get some minutes in the legs fo Phipps, who looks like he might need a loan spell to get some sharpness once Jones, Sagaf and Rance are fully fit.

Re: Wealdstone

I thought his first few games for us were at centre half. Agree it leaves the midfield hole to fill, but I’m hopeful Phipps could go some way towards that if (big if) he can stay fit.

Re: Wealdstone

Could Joey Jones be the answer? Haven’t seen a fit Joey Jones at centre half.

Re: Wealdstone

There’s the problem - our replacement for error prone defenders is another error prone defender.

Rule Change

If the referee has to stop the game because a player is down “injured” that player should have to leave the field whether or not the physio comes on. Too often you see what we saw today: Wealdstone player down motionless with Daggers in possession; ref stops game; player immediately gets to his feet...

Re: Wealdstone

One of those days - their keeper had a busy day, we missed Jones and Sagaf badly and sat too deep for the first 15 minutes of each half.

I doubt we will see a worse ref all season.

Re: Bromley

A good performance against en enormous side. Once we started to play low balls across the box and getting in round the back of them, we looked like scoring a hatful. The ref booking McCallum for trying to keep the ball from going for a goal kick was pathetic. Also, the ref was giving us the hurry up...

Re: Triallists

J M-D has joined Woking on a season long loan from Orient.

Biggest concern for me, like many others, remains centre half. We need a big beast who dominates and just don’t have that in our squad.

BBC Wrexham Love In

24 stories on the front page of the BBC National -League section, 3 of them are for a general news round up for multiple clubs, one is the appointment of a new chairman for the National League. 15 of the remaining 20 are about Wrexham. They sign a player, it gets its own news story; other sides sign...

Re: Brutal

Not sure that the commentators opinion as to the reason for his improved performance should be taken as a fact.
