Re: Next two games

May force the opposition to defend more due to the threat of those 2, taking pressure of our defence, always a possibility Clutching at very short straws I feel. If Jamie isn't enough to do that, then I doubt anyone in this league is. I was always worried when he was on the opposing team. I thought...

Re: Northampton Thread

I got massively frustrated by Gayle. Spent 5 seconds with his head up, before the large majority of the time then deciding to pass sideways to Saah (who wasn't much better mind, one time I remember nearly ran into 3 of their players), when as has been alluded to Boucaud was usually in buses of space.

Re: Northampton Thread

I'm not surprised at all with the way we bossed Oxford around last week and then more hoofy today. I don't think our pitch is the right dimensions for the style WB is trying to implement and I've thought as much for a while. On a much bigger, wider pitch like at the Kassam, we have more space and th...

Re: Signage

Loving the poster a lot, think they've done a great job with it. Hopefully it makes a noticeable difference to encourage them to keep doing it and potentially move on to other ideas!

Would do all I can to advertise the club, but living in Sussex there isn't really any point....

Hartlepool

After recent run of results is anyone going up there tomorrow night? Me and my sister are road trippin it and staying in the Travelodge nearby. Anyone around for a drink after (or before!) the game? Would be good to put some faces to names!

Re: You do realise...

Clearly we need more English talents strutting their stuff in the PL and it's utterly shameful the figures on home grown talent in the PL, but I reckon we need some playing in foreign leagues to experience their styles of play. I'm convinced this helps them when they play against England. What I don...

Re: Football Rumours

Since when did a #10 ever need to be able to head the ball!? What utter nonsense!

A #10 needs good feet, control, vision, passing. A good shot on them once in a while don't go amiss!

This is not Rhys! Rhys is an out and out #9.

Re: One Game Left

Personally I like the yellow similar to the one worn on that momentous day at Wembley.

Don't like the current colours particularly, too close to the home kit. Have we had to wear an alternate kit at any point this season?

Re: Torquay

I think that given what was expected of us at the start of the season, Burnett and co have done a pretty bang up job. To be safe with a tally of points in the high fifties at this stage was certainly above my expectations this season - in all truth we were probably safe at the end of April. You mea...

Re: will we get sucked into relegation fight

Sorry to be the bearer of doom and gloom but after tonight's results I don't think we'll be sucked into the relegation fight .... we're already in it.

Re: Time For Action Football League

Newport are unacceptable, but look at Crawley (my most hated team), they're even worse! Already on 2 a week til the end of the season, without Saturday being rescheduled and now tonight off as well! Even Newport are playing tonight (unless it's called off in the next 5 mins!). My view is should be h...

Re: Crowd tomorrow

Whatever crowd we get what we need to make sure we do is win! Anytime we've done these before we've seemingly deliberately picked games we ought (being the key word here) to win, and then haplessly crumbled. Isn't exactly the way to covert those new fans.....which is surely part of the idea of the d...

Re: Daggers V Southend

Think you will find that Rhys was offside from at the time the ball was passed out wide to Zav and the lino took the view that he did not become active until he put the ball in . Perhaps if Zav had known this he may have had a go at goal himself. If that is correct then in my opinion the Linesmen h...
