Re: What's going on?
Guttridge is having to play despite not being fit, because of injuries. We've a young squad, down to the bare bones. A lot of people underestimated Gateshead - they have some experienced players with many league games under their belt, probably more than we have.

Justham. No need to change, kept plenty of clean sheets and good distribution.

Re: Tamplin has gone
Thought they all had to pay a lump of money last month. All done under the guise of a Gentlemens Agreement. Lets hope that there is no comeback 2 separate things: 1 was gentlemens agreement to cover wages made before the takeover; the other was to pay 10% non-refundable, which was recorded in the b...

Re: Tamplin has gone
Aren't the questions: 1. Has the club received reassurances that the "gentlemen's agreement" to pay the wages of Benno et al will be honoured? 2. Will the non-refundable 125k be transferred from The new company to the club? 3. Given the statements previously made as to the club finances, a...

Re: Tamplin has gone
I suspect this conviction tipped the board over the edge, if you pardon the pun.
So, let's see how this gentlemen's agreement to pay the wages and the non-refundable 10% paid to another company work out. Anyone running a book on that?

Re: Tamplin fined £45,000 for dumping waste
I have no idea if he has any other convictions!?! As for the 75% that is what the club and their lawyers have been grappling with as the transfer from a company limited by guarantee to a company with shares is a novel concept. I've been told that it's 75% of all members, not just those voting, but I...

Re: Tamplin fined £45,000 for dumping waste
But in legal terminology he has an unspent conviction. Whether the FA take that into account, regardless of the exact rules of the fit and proper person test, who knows. Well, we do though, don't we? If it's not on the list, they can't use it and he doesn't have to declare it. We might think it's w...

Re: Tamplin fined £45,000 for dumping waste
If what he has done is a criminal act. Then where is his criminal record? Simple as that. Everyone from fly tippers to public urinators will get threatened with a prison sentence if they refuse the fine. Because otherwise, what's stopping them from turning around and saying "no I won't pay&quo...

Re: Well F.C. Halifax Town away 15th Nov
At the moment we have a left back at right back and a central midfielder at left back (who was getting roasted and made the foul - I thought it was a penalty) such are our injuries.

No, I won't be there. But I was asking as you had posted that you were dissatisfied with the questions put at the last meeting and some of the answers, the one where you voted for him. Or abstained. My two pennies worth, I was undecided, then narrowly for, because we are desperate for cash, rather l...

Re: Tamplin fined £45,000 for dumping waste
Dumping such waste cost a lot of money so it's hardly an action a saint is it, you would imagine that choosing to use his own land meant he saved this money there by at a stroke taking part in a dishonest act. It's not his company, so not his money to save. Did he accept payment to allow it? Did he...

Re: Tamplin fined £45,000 for dumping waste
And Alan - serious question.. What would your reaction be IF in 18, 24 or whatever he has ****** our club over and says he wants to look forward not back. Is that acceptable?? Just asking Eh? I'm not defending him or it. I'm explaining why it doesn't fall foul of the "fit and proper person tes...
