Re: New Manager
Hmm. On the face of it this feels like a very uninspiring appointment but the sentiment seems to be to give Strevens a chance and get behind him - which I agree is the right thing to do. No question though that this is a Thompson appointment, unlikely to rock the boat and dare to challenge him. He i...

Re: New Manager
Burchnall looks like a terrible decision. His managerial record is atrocious. Just like McMahon he seems to have had a couple of reasonable spells at County but no consistency whatsoever. The new manager has to know and understand this league. Garrard comes to us if we a. Offer a better salary and b...

Re: New Manager
I liked the way that we secured Garry Hill back in 1999. Went to St Albans, told them that we were having him at the end of the season but they could keep him until then. Hill started with us in June. Full pre-season, won the league at a canter the following year. Job done. Everyone was a winner. Co...

Re: McMahon
This is a pivotal moment in the history of the club. The next appointment is a statement of intent. Wrexham went and got Phil Parkinson (after they had sacked their MD and got in the former Chair of the EFL). That was saying something. We need to be brutal and ambitious now. In 1999 John Bennett was...

Re: Aldershot Home Thread
No Effiong, gentleman’s agreement not to play him in place. Can we be anymore embarrassing . So McCallum won't be playing against us in April then ?. What a joke club, Effiong is our player, did Aldershot pay his wages for not coming to work last night ?, absolutely farcical. Oh well, only 2 more w...

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread
Tuesday is THE opportunity to let the MD, manager and players know what we think of this s**t. I've been watching Dagenham for a long time and I know from experience that once the crowd really turn on the manager his job becomes untenable. Think back to Burnett v Bristol Rovers, Taylor v Bromley or ...

Re: Bye Paul McCallum
I don’t think the owners have decided to up sticks, maybe taking a different approach. No way would they be paying fees for players when they intend to pull out. Might be cutting the budget for a number of reasons. Both the players that have left have made sense for various reasons, I would like to...

Re: Bye Paul McCallum
Seems like 2018 all over again. F**k all communication from Thompson who genuinely believes that the fans are beneath him so why does he have to tell us what’s actually going on. No word from our absent owners - f**king cowards in my opinion. It’s like being dumped by ghosting. Pathetic. If someone ...

Re: Daryl says remain positive!
If you do want a change of manager then the one thing that frightens the life out of this MD is the idea that nobody will renew their season ticket. That's why he contacts you personally if you don't renew. We need to send that message before he offers McMahon another new 3 year deal.

It's time now....
It really is time for Darryl to go now. The comments on the final whistle tweet are horrendous but unanimous. There are only 2 people in the entire club who can't see that this is a complete waste of time and money. The owners need to stop backing a manager who can't get a tune out of a pretty decen...

Re: Wealdstone
Yep. Not sure what is going on at the top but the silence is deafening. A few years back and the owners were all over us, spouting on socials about how they would get us into the league. Haven’t seen or heard from them for ages. We are technically being ghosted by them. The MD is saying nothing but ...

Wrexham
Well done to Wrexham - showing Dagenham and Redbridge how to do it properly. Thoroughly enjoyed that game today. Loads of effort, matched by strong organisation from the manager and a pattern of play that the team seem to buy in to. Yes they are buying the league but weren't we trying to do that whe...

Re: Yeovil..
If McMahon gets a contract extension at the end of this season then, like many people, I am giving up my season ticket. If the club is in a state of inertia and inaction then perhaps a huge drop in season ticket sales might wake them up. Nobody will like to hear this, and I'm not advocating a return...

Re: Yeovil..
Actually Mr Dog, I would suggest that the more tweets we all send directly to the owners, the more chance we have of them listening. They are shielded from the truth by the MD who has a first class degree in 'managing up'. I have sent a tweet to ask them to read this forum to get a feel of the mood ...

Re: Yeovil..
Regardless of the penalty/red card incident, we were terrible for the first 30 minutes before that and once again it's given this sub standard manager and his mate upstairs a great excuse as to why we lost. This team/club is going nowhere. Another wasted season. Where are the owners by the way? They...
