Then it has achieved its objective, it is recognisable though should have been better.
How many people could accurately describe the crest without a check first and how many non Daggers would recognise it
Daggers up implies they don't like it up em

Re: New home shirt
Never much liked the new badge but the old one is terrible has nothing instantly recognisable about it unless you peer closely and is entirely wrong for a shirt which should be distinctive. Keep the crest for ceremonial duties obviously that's history keep it well away from merchandise If it is not ...

Re: Bury road roof.
1 People don't watch football based on whether or not there is a roof. There's plenty of cover available already. 2 "May" says it all 3 I wasn't being pedantic. I asked a question and you answered a completely different one. Your attempt at being pedantic is also flawed. A roof wouldn't be...

Re: Bury road roof.
1 As it wouldn't turn people away safe to assume it may attract more by better facilities 2 A better atmosphere general surroundings may generate more of a home advantage 3 As you are being pedantic I will equally be and say yes it would be required to achieve our future aspirations of Premier Leagu...

Re: Bury road roof.
If this proposal is going to happen then it has to be a good thing and I would say
1 Absolutely would increase as to how much hard to quantify
2 Arguably yes would tighten up the ground possibly generate a better atmosphere
3 Doesn't need to be most likely would it be an improvement then yes totally

Re: Chester
I think Chester got exactly what they deserved for appalling time-wasting if they had carried on playing they would probably have gone three one up.
The number four was a joke but the referee let them do it he was shocking. We should have had another penalty just before the winner

Re: I come with news
True if only we could find someone willing and wanting to invest in the Club wouldn't that be a dream
I am sure everyone would throw out a welcome mat and say yes please. Oh yes it's that that's the dream

Re: If money was no object
I've always said that if won the lottery I would fund a proper commercial team for at least three years to sort out all the off the field activities and sponsorship, advertising etc. It's unlikely i'd buy a single player as funding the team without paying for the infrastructure destabilises the clu...

Re: New Consortium Announced
I don't need to "do the math" to repeat that this year represented our best financial chance of getting back based on income and potential investment. As for reducing expenditure I haven't noticed the academy lately for example And I am also not a fan of publishing the accounts online as w...

Re: New Consortium Announced
Not sure I totally agree with that We have run with an anticipated loss because a) With parachute payments this year presents out best chance of getting back, and b) Sourcing investment did/does look promising Our business model for at least the last ten years has been buy, sell, cup runs and it wou...

Who mentions miracles
Perhaps just being able hold on to players if we choose too or keep a competitive squad its amazing how far that can take you
A managed debt is something we have had for fifteen years probably longer

Re: New Consortium Announced
Somebody who seems to have a good business record and has been a supporter of the Club over a number of years is willing to put £1M+ into the Club probably to try to maintain or even progress the current level in the pyramid and you query why they might like a controlling interest We should consider...

Re: New Consortium
I can't be bothered to argue on your tittle tattle success rate but please don't assume I want the same outcomes that you do either for the Club or individuals
