Re: York

Up at 5, 7.20 train out of Stevenage to York for 9 arrival, straight in at 10 to the Railway Museum then enjoy this pretty decent city, albeit not the best time of year but we played them here last January so one day might get them away in better months. Should be an interesting encounter as both si...

Re: And poor Wayne thought he's been getting a rough time

How the mighty have tumbled, hard to imagine that this side was in the Champions League final just a bit less than two years back and for years hitting the high spots of the Bundesliga. One time Klopp was in the frame for top jobs here, a lesson to learn here, seems they're in a right two and eight!

Re: Mansfield game all ticket

Went last year and one of our worse performances away from home along with the York City one last season. The Sandy pate suite bar in the ground was an interesting spectacle and I personally found the crowd up there friendly and mixed with them well over a pint or two although I usually go very earl...

Re: tonights game

When we clawed a goal back I really thought we'd sneak it and come out winners, but at least now must bring in a bit of confidence for the boys and believe in themselves, although we'd all agree especially first half were still showing big faults in marking up tightly on opposition attack and can't ...

Re: We'll Done Cambridge

I don't know Sussex, if they play only half as good as last night that'll be another defeat for us Tuesday night and more worry, too think the Mancs had a 'world class' side out with the likes of di Maria, Falcao (well done to LVG) and van Persie coming on and them playing so good as that well done ...

Re: saving our club

The problem here is to nearly all of us whether fans or board are witnessing up until the last game a team that really doesn't look like they're going to get out of this and can not see us 'turning the corner' so understandable many of us are showing our frustrating's at trying to find an answer, fo...

Re: If you were on the board would you sack Burnett

We only stayed up two season's back for the real luck that Northampton Town beat Barnet on their own turf and thus we survived, and at that time the Cobblers were quite a good side, walking away from the ground that day obviously glad we never dropped out but deep down sick that we couldn't at least...

Re: If you were Wayne Burnett would you resign.

In the quick shot and answering the question, No. Wayne I believe has been let down by players, wouldn't say all but a few definitely and perhaps people around him, he's been honest saying the buck stops with him, he decides the team and he takes responsibility for what's happening. But he knows he'...

Re: Northampton Town

Right shameful all what's been happening to our club, never for a month of Sunday's expect to be spot on week in, week out with good to excellent displays after all its League two were talking about here and we all know our history stems a lot from non-League football and a few rough edge moments bu...

Re: How / why can this be allowed to continue

Its getting really painful now watching a side that just seems to have given up and even worse letting sides playing against us look better than they really are, most of them against a decent side would be dire, and I really think the title of this thread summarizes the five months into this dreadfu...

Re: Northampton Town

That goal at Burton by Lawson just before the oranges last season was a moment I'll treasure for a long time, we had, the way things are looking this season far better periods last term and every time we waited for the next game especially away ones we just believed at the time we'd see something sp...

Re: Northampton Town

Noticed they had a good away win Saturday at Exeter 2-0 and played pretty well early on in the season down our manor , and even though they're not having a blooming good season still can't see them losing to us and going first time this term by train so at least being my third there running if the g...

Re: Relegation dogfight - the teams

I have seen enough this season and with only missing two games either home and away to say as much as I hate to say it think were go down with Mansfield Town, teams like us who have been hovering around 18-22nd place most of the season have generally gone up the swanny at the end, and teams like Har...

Re: Booing??

Thought it was just another boring league encounter down at our place, looked certs for a draw after 15/20 minutes, nothing changes and games like these we should and could have got a win, surprised Oxford seemed to take their foot off the gas pedal second half and because we noticed their big back ...

Toss up between him and Chris Dickson as being daggers 'vacant striker', to be fair though Dickson did play longer for us.
