Well… Imagine my surprise.

Pathetic squad brought together because of a pathetic board.

Re: NL: Gateshead (H) 15 August 2023

No doubts in my mind we should be moving away from 3 at the back today. A back 4 with Johnson and Ling on each side makes most sense given injuries, a 3 man midfield with Lawless replacing Rees who already looks like he’s out of his depth, and a front three of Ibie Effiong and Weston. If we play a b...

Re: Well done James

Lots of improved jobs being done around the club. Commercial, media, management structure all look a lot more professional. Just a shame that we are still in decline in the area that matters most

Re: Dreadfull.

Yeah pretty much all of this. However Ibie deserves some praise for trying to at least take the game to then when being played horrendously out of position. Vincent and Rees were crap. Nothing close to what I expected given how they were spoken about by both the club and previous fans. Can we get Ro...

Re: NL: Southend United (H) 12 August 2023

I see a few of your fans feel we shouldn't even have been allowed to start the season. We are and have. Hopefully we will dish out another hammering in your cup final. If it’s our cup final then why are you trawling through a Dagenham forum looking for an argument you melon? It’s a shame that South...

Re: NL: Altrincham (A) 5 Aug 2023

Can’t see this rule with the injury time continuing for much longer, as it is just so backwards. There is only one fool-proof way to crack down on time wasting and that is consistent bookings, even if it leads to a red card. A good point all in all, however. Let’s hope we can step things up a notch ...

Re: Fans Forum

3 up 3 down as early as next season? Absolutely no chance the EFL go for that.

I really do hope that with Howard’s (and the club’s) connection to West Ham we can get some decent loans in. The same for Strev’s with Luton. Sounds promising…

Re: New Striker

Not the biggest squad but it feels like we are close to having the core 16/17 sorted. Hopefully we can play the loan market to get some more talent in. Surely as Niko is constantly hanging around the squad he must be getting close to a return? With Mussa, it feels like his departure is dependent on ...

Re: No Views From The Sieve

Hopefully they manage to fix this then.

Although it’s good the club acted swiftly since most saw it at the Orient game, it’s still embarrassing that this even happened at the first place. And I do worry about the decision making at this club, even with all the Americans involved.

Re: Southend United

I wonder if they miss July’s payday which I assume is tomorrow, they will be docked 10 points as per condition B.

However I can definitely see the league weaselling out of this as it’s not during the national league season…

Re: Friendly: West Ham (H)

2-2 against West Ham is pretty decent even if it is a preseason. Hopefully more results like this to come in August.

It feels like we are starting to forge a much closer relationship with West Ham, would there ever been an opportunity for us to start taking loan players from them again?

Re: Southend United

Not shocked in the slightest that there has still been nothing but silence from the league on this. Because they care so much about integrity and fans of the league I predict that they will postpone all Southend games that happen before the next court review of the WUP and pray that the courts make ...

Re: Southend United

A local MP is getting involved to see what support the Government could offer, http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/23664469.southend-mp-holds-crunch-meeting-fight-save-blues-continues/ I’m shocked reading that to learn how the govt gave £1m in support to Bury. This shouldn’t happen anyway as it sets a...
