Re: Our Own Worst Enemy
Passley was an awful player without enough heart to fill a thimble.

Re: Time for a change
I don't really have an issue with bad language but there were a couple of songs that were pretty ridiculous. Threatening violence with a pitch and stewards between you is cringeworthy. There are the odd comments that make me wince but they are largely drowned out unless you're right by the person ma...

Re: Next game lineup
I think we look wide open on the break a lot of the time. Not sure whether it is just shape or whether it is effort but opponents seem to be able to saunter forwards and get crosses into our box unopposed. We seem to play through midfield for a bit then get bored and go back to launching it at Cheek...

Re: Eastleigh
Only ourselves to blame. They were limited but we let them back in with a ludicrous goal. The ball forward was awful so no surprise the forwards were at a loss. Didn't really think the defence were thag bad generally but the goals were poor. The back 4 distribution was very poor. Have to say I'm not...

Re: 6 games to play between 23rd Dec & 9th Jan
With Adams Robinson Fejiri Nunn Sparkes Kandi Pennell all available (I think) I actually think we look quite strong at last.
If players are looking tired by new years day I wouldn't be surprised to see a few changes. Can't see any of the next 3 games getting much rotation.

Re: Do we bench Corey Whitely
I wouldn't want us to go back to Whitely at 10 even though it is better for him. We look so much more solid with the extra defensive player in the team. Robson is a great centre back but the work he does in the middle with Boucaud and Howell is one big reason we've just won 3 on the bounce.

Re: Dover (H)
I get the feeling Cheek needs to be 100% fit and sharp to have an impact and he's been a bit short for most of the season. The kind of player he is, he isn't the quickest or the biggest or have the best touch; he is strong, can hit a ball and knows where to be in the box. When he's a slightly off th...

Re: Dover (H)
They tool 540 to orient. I know it's a pain to get home for their fans who come from working in London but I'd expect more than that.

Re: Dover on Tuesday same team ?
Dover have some big lads and one very big striker. I think you have to pick Lokko again due to this. Even half their midfield is well over 6ft. This will be tough and we'll need to keep it on the deck to get much joy.

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
Every ref in the league seems to think showing the watch is enough to indicate they will add time on so I can only assume they are directed to deal with it this way.
Which is incredibly frustrating as the point is more about disrupting the game flow than the total time the ball spends in play.

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
Lokko marked their giant 6 at corners and actually beat him in the air when the ball came their way. They had no pace at all so he was unlikely to be troubled in that regard. Good decision to put him in but wouldn't have him there every week.

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
Think Andre is one of the first names on the team sheet personally. Works hard, the only player we have with touch and control from a higher standard than this, settles us down and passes forward a lot more than he used to. Thought he drove us on second half. Howell I thought was pretty bad until ab...
