Admin wrote "Why's that?"
To ensure accuracy of results. All random polls have a margin of error (in other words, people lie) of around 4-5% so I just wanted to know how accurate this poll is. We went in to Iraq on less evidence than this.............

Re: A sad fact
Okay, no one likes to 1) lose their job or 2) entice someone else to fire a person, thus losing that personshis or her job. As well, no one will walk away from a pay cheque so Wayne will not resign, that is plain common sense. If, as mickyblue comments there are Rollers and Bentleys outside the club...

Re: We Would not Would We
Unless otherwise stated in his contract, I believe an option open to the club is to relieve him of his duties and continue to pay him his weekly wage until such time that he finds other employment at the same or less of a wage (most likely less). At that point, the negotiations would begin re making...

Re: time for a change
Admin, after the dismal past couple of years when all could see the problems, the board chose to give this guy a 2 year contract. The decision to let Wayne go will be based on perfromance, the boards decision to give him a 2 year extension, is/was clearly very, very, very bad performance. They have ...

Re: To be, or not to be....
For Arnu and Stanton. Arnu, you wrote "It has become a chore for a lot of us to attend, me included. But I don't see what good a new manager will do with the same targets set by the club as those set for Wayne." You are giving yourself away here mate. If a new Manager comes in and is given...

Re: To be, or not to be....
Arnu, I've seen lots of your posts on here about this and that and you make valid points. However, when Wayne first took over it was at a time of some turmoil for the club, so the interim post read right. In hindsight, at that time this club was still a force to be reckoned with and with JS leaving,...

Re: To be, or not to be....
But Arnu, while your arguments make some sense, you miss one very important part of the current situation we are in. Whether we stay up or go down, it remains to be seen who will be directing this club in either league both on and off the pitch. In my opinion, this board has not shown the decision m...

Re: BOYCOTT ALL GAMES
Welcome Jag. I too remember well the days you speak of, having most likely been one of the 200 standing in the sieve watching the likes of Carshalton Athletic or Dorking play against us. But to give the current situation a little more 60's perspective, in the mid '60's even though Dagenham were not ...

Re: New manager
Here's the problem that needs to be fixed first though. Sadly, my biggest worry is not who or when someone is going to replace the current manager, but those who will choose when and who will replace him, are the same bunch (perhaps some might say fools) who recently gave him a 2 year contract. If t...

Re: Bottom 8
Have to totally agree with Adrian on this one. Over the years I know that all of the clubs that amalgamated to become this club have helped current and former players as they have gone through one form of crisis or another which crisis has had nothing to do with events on the pitch. I fully understa...
